May The Fourth Be With You

This will be slightly different from normal Sylum Posts. To be honest May snuck up on me and I wasn’t prepared for May the 4th Be With You. *hangs head in shame*

A couple of months ago I participated in Commander Cody Appreciation Week on Tumblr. These really aren’t Sylum related, but it’s me so it could be *grins*. One snippet is from the Dragon General storyline. Four Snippets are simply set inside ‘The Clone Wars’. One is a concept that’s going around of Cody … hopefully appearing in the new Obi-Wan Series or Bad Batch – as a Purge Trooper, if don’t know what that is – ask I’ll totally go all Star Wars geek on you. And one is an AU idea that is running around.

Sylum Top Ten – 15th Anniversary Edition: Top Ten Favorite Characters

First Question:  At first it was name favorite new character from the past five years, it was then adjusted to – just name your top ten favorite characters.

Okay so this was surprising yet not!  We actually had 102 character listed for this question.  Yes 102 that’s just about 10% of the Wiki!!  The characters sent were all over the map from those who have been with Sylum in the beginning of time (when dinosaurs roamed the earth) to some of the newest additions.

Seven Days of Summer 2021: Last Day to Sign Up

Last Day!!

If you’ve always been interested in signing up for a Sylum Event, now’s the time.   There are plenty of characters in the wiki to choose from.  You can work on a fic, any type of artwork, build an aesthetic, work a fanmix, even do a fanvid – the possibilities are endless.

Sign Ups: April 17th – May 1st

Banner Due Date: Title and a basic idea for Story Banner needs to be sent to taibhrigh no later than June 15th.

Due Date: Stories, artwork etc.  should be in my inbox no later than June 25th.

What is Seven Days? 

Seven Days is our Annual Summer Event.  We accept Sylum Art, fanmixs, videos and stories.  It’s not uncommon to see stories that are set up for future fics or Timestamps that relate to stories from Advent.

Start Date will be July 1st.

What do you need to do to participate?

You will need to sign up and state what your interested in doing.

REMINDER:  All Sylum Stories will need to be approved by Bj Jones.  If you’re interested in doing a Sylum Story contact Bj (sylumclan@gmail.com).  DO NOT write the story then send it, this makes the General very cranky.

How do I sign up?

Just click reply and let us know what your interested in doing, don’t forget to give us your contact info so we can get a hold of you.

Sign Ups close May 1st.  If we do not get your request, by the 1st it will not be included.

Is there a deadline of when the Fic/Art needs to be Finished?

Yes!

– Posts will appear over the next months to check on everyone’s progress.

– All Fic/Art will need to finished and emailed to (sylumclan@gmail.com) by June 25th.

Character Introduction / Knight Clan1

Sylum Inspiration: Claudio La Cruz

Knight: Co-Leader

 

Claudio was the youngest son of French and Spanish Aristocracy.  He was raised in privilege and had the finest tutors.  Though Claudio may look fancy and flighty, in truth he was very politically savvy, and had the ear of many ladies and lords in Court.

His parents gave up hope of finding him a wife, and hoped he would become someone’s ‘kept boy’.

When Lord Lucien La Croix introduced himself to Claudio at a party, their hopes were soon realized.

Claudio liked the charming Italian instantly. He was open and honest with him, told him about Vampires and that he was his Mate.

Until he saw him with the male hussy. It took Lucien months to get back the ground he lost. (Dilios Note: Ask Kirk Lazarus and Nico about that particular moment in time)

Claudio finally gave into Lucien, and he was Turned and soon after they two Mated.  He still talks about how romantic it was, and how attentive Lucien was to his needs.
