I need to re work how the AI assets are being showcased in the Archive.
When I get those more organized will let everyone know.

Last chance! Since the original post went out a day late, we’ll keep this open for a few days.
What is Sylum Advent?
Sylum Advent is our Annual Winter Event. It will start on December 1st and go through to New Years Day, January 1st.
What do you need to do to participate?
You will need to sign up and state what your interested in doing.
Reminder: If you would like to work on a Sylum story, you will need to contact me with your idea, and I will have to see a draft ahead of time to make edits or notes. It’s best if you focus on stories that aren’t attached to main characters being used in Arcs or stories by other authors. Check out the Sylum Wiki – lots and lots of characters that need some attention and love!

November 23rd: Stories/Art Due
I understand life happens, if you realize that you won’t be able to make the deadline or get the story/art done, please let me know ASAP so I can adjust posting schedule.

Seven Days of Summer 2026: Day Six
Title: Sensei

Sylum Timeline: 2014
Summary: Nathan Keys was a typical sixteen year old, who finds solace in learning Karate. When his Sensei meets his grandfather, old history and stories come out – including who he’s named after.
Sylum Characters: Nathan Algren, Kensei, Marco & Niccolo Polo, Jonathan Wales and other Shogun Characters – introducing Daniel LaRusso
Author’s Note: I’ve been wanting to do this story for a while, but there were a lot of elements. I had read ‘Waxing On’ by Ralph Macchio and re watched Karate Kid and it gave me the vehicle I needed to get the story written, but from a different perspective. This will have a major edit before it goes up onto the Archive, as I got this done just in time 😀

Summary: Jack Carter thought of himself as a regular guy. Graduated college, got married, had a kid, got divorced, and suffered terminal exasperation with his Bohemian sister. Now he’s been transferred from the Marshal’s Service to act as Sheriff in the top-secret town of Eureka. Jack’s not so normal anymore.
