Jack watched in horror as the Interceptor blew. Debris scattered across the ocean, the mast tumbled into the water, as the rest of her sank to the bottom of the ocean. His heart ached at the loss of such a beautiful ship. His soul cried out for the one who completed him. He had heard tales of Vampires going insane at the loss of their Mate, after all how did one explain Kenway.

He knew he wasn’t sane, and though they hadn’t Bonded, the young blacksmith had soothed his chaotic mind. It was at the moment the ship disappeared from sight his mind completely stilled, the only thought was killing Barbossa.

He had taken the Pearl, but worse he had stolen his soul.

As he settled into a sort of determination to seek his revenge, a voice rang out from the side of the ship.

“Barbossa!”

“Will!” Elizabeth exclaimed happily, hands on her chest as she sighed in relief and attraction.

Jack stared at his Mate. ‘Aye, my blacksmith isn’t easy to kill, this is good.’ He grimaced at the lass, she was practically batting her eyelashes at him. ‘Miss Swann is going to a problem. She must learn Will is mine.’

Sanguen Vitae: Hunter

 

Ardeth explains all about Vampires and also the Assasins. Tamina encourages Dastan to find more on his heritage, and stands with him as they are trained as Hunters.

She’s with him while he rebuilds Masyaf. Over time she starts to build a section of Masyaf for families, and later training grounds for woman Assassins.

Not an Assassin herself, she learns to Hunt on her own. She meets Wilhelm and the two begin to Hunt together. She develops a good relationship with him, though she’s pretty sure Dastan has warned Wilhelm a few times about when too much is too much.

Wilhelm still hasn’t forgiven her for the Hansel and Gretel moment. For that matter neither has Hansel and Gretel.

Random Post: Sheep Sheering

At Connor’s Ranch in Australia, they would yearly herd the sheep in to have them sheered!

It’s an art form, and the best of the best can sheer sheep in less than a minute (World Record Set 2016 one sheep every 36 Seconds)

It’s important to keep sheep sheered or their coats become to big, matted, and become deadly to the sheep.  In 2015 they found a lost sheep that had 40kg of fleece.  They had to bring in a Champion Sheering to get the matted fleece off of him.

For Connor, any Vampire that want’s to learn to sheer or just be a ‘manly man’ though woman are also welcome Lara still holds the fastest time for novice!  They are welcome at his ranch to learn how to sheer, and put in a good days of hard work.

Plus it’s a good place to get back to your roots and run around naked screaming … you will only will be judged by the sheep.

Vaako was a dedicated Roman Soldier, who followed his General Marcus Antonius throughout his career, and even helped him get out of Rome and back to Egypt after Caesar was killed.  He stayed by his side, despite the need to smack the crap out of him.

When Marc was Turned and escorted out of Egypt.

He followed.

Once Marc was Mated.

He followed.

Until Marc finally got the idea and Turned him.

Seven Days of Summer 2017: Last Call

 

Last Chance!! Come on – you know you wanna!

We’re trying out something to get more participation.

If you’re not comfortable writing – you can do art, fanmixs, and videos.

Plus we’re taking gif sets (with the characters from the films/TV shows in Sylum Examples: One, Two, Three), icons (for all variety of characters in the Sylum Universe), quote/inspiration blocks (Quotes from the stories w/character images or landscapes), aesthetics posts/Moodboard (imagery that represents clans, characters, stories: Examples: One, Two, Three – A Few Sylum Examples)  – we’re up for some new ideas.

Try something different – take the challenge!

What is Seven Days? 

Seven Days is our Annual Summer Event.  We accept all things Sylum: Art, fanmixs, videos and stories.  It’s not uncommon to see stories that are set up for future fics or Timestamps that relate to stories from Advent.

Start Date this year will be July 1st.

What do you need to do to participate?

You will need to sign up and state what your interested in doing.

REMINDER:  All Sylum Stories will need to be approved by Bj Jones.  If you’re interested in doing a Sylum Story contact Bj (sylumclan@yahoo.com).  DO NOT write the story then send it, this makes the General very cranky.

Sign Ups close May 1st.  If we do not get your request, by the 1st it will not be included.
