A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away …. wait wrong fandom! Let’s try that again. Many years ago when we were on the Yahoo Groups – there was a time you can make your own South Park Characters – many people had fun making Sylum Characters into South Park Style.
Last night the Powerpuff Yourself started up … so I thought – ohhh lets try this!
So I’m calling Y’all out! Follow this link Powerpuff Yourself – if you have an RP Character make an Avitar for your Character. If you don’t pick a Sylum Character – we have over 1000 Characters!!!! And make an Avitar. As wordpress won’t allow images to be posted to replies *glares at wordpress* Please send them to (sylumclan@yahoo.com) and we’ll post them for all can enjoy … make sure to label the character, clan their from etc…. just in case … especially since we have some actors play multiple characters.
Speed has already had some fun and totally Powerpuff Mr. Finch and Mr. Reese and we can’t forget Bear!

Introducing a New Page: The General’s Office
Recently I was inspired to write something that wasn’t Sylum related. Shocking yes I know. Speed of course fed the bunny, poked and prodded until the story was actually written. Truthfully it’s been nice to step away from the Vampires for a while – especially when I realized it’s been over 4 Years since I wrote anything that wasn’t Sylum related!
The simple story turned into a series.
Wait.
Wait.
Yes it would seem that I can’t write anything simple.
Which left me with a dilemma.
Where the hell do I post it?
Livejournal: Okay so I haven’t used it in a while. I dusted it off, opened it up and wandered around the empty halls. This could work. Then quickly remembered what it was like to post anything over a certain size. *eyeroll* and moving on…
Tumblr: Yeah no. No really. No.
A03: Hell fucking no. Why many of you would ask? Cause I despise their attitude, their politics, and the entitlement of some of the people on it.
So in the end it came down to well… I do have this blog.
And The General’s Office was born.
Basically anything new being written, for example this new series called Dragons of Interest … will be posted there. And what do you know the first chapter is already posted!! So step on over to the General’s Office, grab some Sencha Tea, sit and enjoy a new story from Bj Jones … while waiting for Nico to shut the hell up!
Update: Sick General
If you’ve been wondering why there’s been no updates this week – including Sylum Inspiration and the new RP it’s because The General is down for the count. I came down with some nasty viral infection and well I’ve moved as far as the couch. I’m only now reasonably feeling slightly better to type this out.
We’ll be back to our normal schedule mayhem next week!
Discussion: Tuesday RP??
Though we have the forums set up for discussions/rp and the likes for everyone, I’m seeing that it’s rarely if at all being being used.
So the question I’m sending out to the list – If I set up a an RP Post once a week, or something similar – would you guys go to town – enjoy the old style RP that used to be on the list?
We got over 500 hits a day during Advent so I know you guys are out there. It would be nice to see some of you during the rest of the year 🙂
This is for fun, doesn’t have to be perfect, or in canon, just have fun with it.
PS: If I don’t get any responses in the next few days to this – I’m going to just assume this is a no go.

She’s sweet, charming, and can rule that castle with a iron fist! She knows everything and no one can get anything past her. She also has a beautiful singing voice and can be heard through out the castle when dealing with day to day operations.
She also can push every single one of Thomas’ buttons.
Sylum: Character Adoption
Character Adoption
One of the events we had on the Yahoo Group was adopt a Sylum character! It was a fun thing, and after a while I got to know more people by their character name than their either real names or online names.
We’ve opened this back up on the blog last year, but figured be a good time to remind everyone. You can use the character to sign into the blog, or make comments here or the wiki blog.
Go to Sylum: Character Adoption read through the list to make sure not asking for someone taken. Then if want to adopt – give me a list of at least 5 characters so we can make sure you get one.
Even though we don’t really do RP here on the blog – remember we do have a Sylum Forum – where you can actually start up an RP … or have discussions about a variety of things.

Keeping with this years Sylum Inspiration: John Preston – Ehre/Weisheit Hunter.
He’s methodical, tenacious, and a deadly Hunter. Add him with his Mate the two can be unstoppable.
John’s personal self control rises from who his father is, and his need to make sure he never looses control. One of the few people he relaxes or lets go – is his Mate.

This years Sylum Inspiration will tie into the Sylum Monthly Calendars.
Since January 2016 Calendar was of Ehre/Weisheit – we’ll be showcasing each week in January a character from that particular Clan.
