More Updates
We’re not even going to discuss the move – lets just say it’s not going as well as expected.
Now to the updates:
- The Read More is still not working in emails. It’s a hassle at the moment, and hoping at some point an update will fix it. If there is anything that sensitive – I’ll make sure to leave space so it’s not seen right off the top in an email.
- The updates also broke the tabs and skin on the Sylum Wiki. At this moment none of the tabs are showing for any page or bio. You can still read the bio, and click on links but it’s one long piece of information instead of nice and neat like I had it – *grumbles at WordPress*.
- Covid. Sooner or later I was going to have to answer this unasked question. Is Sylum going to deal with Covid? No, we’re not having Covid in Sylum. There are few events that you don’t want in the fiction you write/read to escape reality … this is one of them. Plus it screws with my timeline – it already f*ked enough with my professional and personal life – I’m refusing to adjust my timeline.

Why is Fassbender’s Naked Ass being displayed?

But actually yes we do have a reason for the naked ass, which is being showcased not on Naked Thursday ( you have to be old school Sylum to get that joke … for those of you who did thanks for holding out this long)
Okay so the actual reason, I’m working on a video of faboolous nakedness or suggestion of nakedness – body paint, really tight pants, gorgeous dress etc for all Sylum Actors/Actresses.
It’s 2020 – the year needs to end on beauty!
What I need from all of you is suggestions of movies/TV shows/Interviews etc … so we can get a variety of Sylum Characters. Please respond with name of actor/actress and the movie/show that has naked or near nakedness. We’re not looking for porn, just those nice beautiful, sexy, sensual shots.
Example: Meela in the body paint in the Mummy; the original Mystique; Dean in his underwear, Fassenber’s naked ass.
Dear Mischief Maker – you know where this going. 😀
Oh and now for the Naked Ass – you’ve had plenty of warning!
Blog Glitches
Pops up quickly. WordPress updated – which always breaks something. Lately I’ve noticed that the ‘read more’ line is disappearing in the emails that are sent out. This isn’t too much of an issue if it’s a Sylum Snippet or Afternoon Fic – you just get the story in your inbox (please do make sure to stop by the blog to leave comments).
But for something like Sylum Trivia or Top Ten List – you’ll need to stop by the blog to view the post to click on the contact form to fill out the answers.
In time an update will pop up for themes, plug ins etc and it will be fixed. But until then … we’ll just have to work around it *sigh*.

There’s been some updates to the blog.
Two categories have been added to drop down menu Sylum Stories: Snippets & Teasers – these are all the snippets and teasers that have been posted on the blog.
Reminder – you can find the link to the old Old Archive in the drop down menu: Sylum Information/Sylum Archive.
Spring Fling & Seven Days of Summer 2020 have been added to drop down menu: Sylum Events.
If you ever have a question of where something is located or just a question in general – you can click on Sylum Q&A on the main slider header or under the drop down menu: Sylum Information.
The General is Moving!
So yes we’re moving.
The next two months will be hectic and chaotic.
Posts have been prepped way in advance, hopefully nothing will go off the rails *crosses fingers*. If need to get a hold of me – email: sylumclan@yahoo.com … but note it could take time for me to get back to you.
There will be times I’m not able to access the blog or site. So be patient if something does happen, I’ll work to get things fixed as quickly as possible.
At the moment – Sylum Vault is closed and we’ll make announcement when it reopens, likely in October.
Most importantly the bunnies have been packed and organized, hopefully they won’t get lost on the way to their new den.

Sylum Stories & Where They Are Located
I’ve been asked questions, and seen searches on the Archive and Wiki pertaining to a few Sylum stories. I figured best to put a heads up where somethings are located.
All stories that have been edited to fit Sylum Canon is located in the Sylum Archive.
There are still stories on the Old Archive. For example: Family and Evolution. Plus some that haven’t been transferred and those that are considered non-canon.
Race Through Dark Places – has been removed and being edited at the moment.

Sylum Announcement
COVID-19 AKA: Coronavirus
I’m sure all of you have received many emails from a variety of sources about COVID-19. This isn’t one of them, not really.
Many of us are either working from home, staying home (some mandated, others in early precaution stages), and keeping social contact to a minimum – we’re finding a lot of time on our hands.
Just know that we’re keeping up with our goals of having a post go out a day, so you should have something to look forward to. Though I would love to take this time and focus more on Sylum I’m actually working from home :(. Though napz have been had *don’t tell anyone*.
So while we’re curled up on our couches, watching Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, those favorite DVDs that never come out of the player or reading some new books that you always wanted to read or that old book just love to read all the time – this would be a good time to catch up on Sylum! Read it all over again. All of it! Make sure notes/comments to the authors.
The Manor has survived many things in history, this is just one more thing to be added.
