The little that is know about Kai, was learned from Marquis.
Kai comes from a long family line out of Germany (Dilios Note: My guess it started with a certain Roman General). He ended up in France, and in jail with the Marquis de Sade. He was rescued by Marquis and was told about Vampires and Mates.

National Rugby League – Opening Day
Technically the opening day is March 12th, but with the time difference between Australia and Los Angeles, close enough!
