Evolution – Intro to Characters: Part 2
Evolution has been a long sometimes painful experience. It pulls together storylines that had been laid down in previous Arcs and sets up storyline for future Arcs. It also introduces many characters from other clans, with their own stories, plus reveals new characters being brought into the series.
Since not everyone is familiar with every fandom that has been ever created and found it’s way into Sylum *grins*. I thought it would be good to give a face to some of the new Characters.
Now first off remember there is a SYLUM WIKI – learn to live it, love it, USE it! Most of the characters in Evolution are in the Wiki – not all of them have full bios yet (I’m working on it… there are A LOT of characters). But there are a few that haven’t been uploaded yet and won’t until after Evolution is posted.

It’s almost here! Tomorrow May 15th – we’ll start posting the 4th Sylum Arc.
Wow the 4th Arc *shakes head*
Evolution has had it’s ups and downs, twists and turns. RL got seriously in the way of it getting written, and then there was the Damn Italian who demanded six months of my time.
Before we get started a few Thank Yous.
First: A Big Thank You to Timothy Quinn my partner in all things and Sylum. You inspire so much for Sylum… and don’t think I didn’t see you feeding Bob when I wasn’t looking.
Second: Thank Yous to Janet and Gil for the Beta work – going through such a big story after doing Family is huge… let alone keep track of all of it.
Third: Taibhrigh – Thank you for the Art/Banners for each Chapter!
Fourth: A second Thank You to Gil for putting the Evolution Page together and Coding each chapter – even when we send last minute corrections.
Evolution Posting Schedule
Do to the fact that these chapters are long, intricate, filled with information, and a new story – we’ll be posting ONE chapter every THREE days! This will give everyone time to read, comment/ask questions for each chapter.

Founding of Camelot Clan
Happy May Day!
Today we Celebrate the Founding of Camelot Clan – 658 AD
Camelot’s first home was Tintagel Castle on the coastline of Cornwall, England.
It wasn’t until it started to decay and fall into the sea, that they moved to St. Michael’s Mount, Marazion – Cornwall, England in the 1300’s.
St. Michael’s Mount was perfect for Camelot due to the built in security. The castle sits on an Island, and is not easily accessed.
If the Tide is in, the castle is only accessible by boat. If the tide is out, there is a stone walkway that allows visitors to access the island.
Since St. Michael’s Mount is considered a Historical Landmark – visitors are welcome in the summer months.
Though if you’re trying to get to see Hugh – the staff may not know who you’re referring to.

What is Seven Days?
Seven Days is our Annual Summer Event. It will focus on Sylum Stories, but we also accept Sylum Art and this year fanmixs. It’s not uncommon to see stories that are set up for future fics or Timestamps that relate to stories from Advent.
What do you need to do to participate?
You will need to sign up and state what your interested in doing.
REMINDER: All Sylum Stories will need to be approved by Bj Jones. If you’re interested in doing a Sylum Story contact Bj (sylumclan@yahoo.com). DO NOT write the story then send it, the story will likely get rejected and you would have to start all over again. So email Bj first!!!
How do I sign up?
Just click reply and let us know what your interested in doing, don’t forget to give us your contact info so we can get a hold of you.
Sign Ups close May 1st. If we do not get your request, by the 1st it will not be included.
Is there a deadline of when the Fic/Art needs to be Finished?
Yes!
– Emails will go out to those who are participating June 1st to check on progress.
