In Memoriam

As many of you have likely heard about the mass shooting at Pulse a well known gay club in Orlando, Florida.  At last count it was 52 dead, another 50 wounded.

My heart goes out to those who have lost loved ones, and prayers for those who were killed.

This act of terror and hate against the LGBTQ community hits home for Sylum as this series even though fictional is part of the LGBTQ Community.

There are many who would like to help but not sure how.

There is a Go Fund Me Page set up to help the victims of the shooting – Go Here

Give Blood.  If in Orlando, look for places to go to.  For those outside the area, check with the Red Cross for more information.

Give to other LGBTQ Charities and Foundations.  One I can vouch for is the LGBT Center in LA.

If you have other charities (US and/or International) that would be good – please reply we’ll add them to the list.

As always we’ll stand strong.

He ended up working for the CIA.

While on one of his missions he ended up working with Frank Moses. The two bitched instantly. Moses had decided that Frost would make a good candidate working for the Vampire Council.

It’s June 1st … when did that happen I’m not entirely sure!

Sending a call out to those participating in Seven Days!

If you are doing fic – I’ll need to see the story by the 15th.  This will give me time to look it over, and make notes/comments.  If anything needs to be adjusted to fit in canon, there will still be time to adjust.  At this time we’ll start working on getting a story banner made for the fic.

All fic and art need to be finished and to me by June 25th – no later than June 28th.  I’ll need the time to set up the posts on the blog for Seven Days.

Haven’t done this for a while!

Memorial Day Weekend has passed and in American tradition – its the start of the Summer Vacation.

So today’s RP is prepping for Summer at the Manor.

Thomas had the staff finish prepping the Manor for summer.

The wicker chairs were out on the porch.

Lemonade was in the fridge.

Lights hung in the trees.

He just needed to keep a few Clan Members away from the BBQ.  There insurance was high enough.

And it would seem the first guest have arrived.

Most of Harry’s life has sucked. He was always told he kinda looked like Stark, but more messy and pathetic.

When trying to escape a burglary gone wrong he ended up in a casting session, winning over the producers who wanted to screen test him for a role.

At a Hollywood party he met Perry.

The rest of the story is a sad Hollywood plot that even he couldn’t get his head around. By the end of it, he discovered the role went to Kirk Lazarus. The bastard.

Perry showed up, kidnapped him, and took him to Spain to explain about past lives and Vampires. Harry wished he had told him before he lost his fingers! He agreed to be Turned and the two Mated soon after.

So I’ve been a bit slack on posts these past few weeks.  RL has been a bitch.  Between the major work project coming down the pipeline and other assorted goodies, everything else can pushed to the sidelines.

Working now back to work with Sylum: The blog, the Vault, and other goodies.

Expect some random posts coming up.   They will be hints and teases of future stuff.  Or just fun random Sylum moments.

And while we’re all here at the Coffee House … how’s everyone doing?
