After putting up the Q&A from a few years ago – we figured for the 10th Anniversary be good to open up to everyone to ask us some questions.

Use the Contact Form below to ask anything you want about characters, art, clans, storyline, the bobs, the history of sylum, the process of putting all of this together, the amount of headdesking and crying that takes place…

You’re introduced to Merry & Pippin in Clan War (you’ll see more of them in the 10th Anniversary Edition).

The reason of showcasing Dachshunds is mainly because I had two of my own.

They are adorable, smart, stubborn, and only like other dachshunds and dachshund owners aka slaves.

Sylum Inspiration: Janus Coin

Anyway – the Block Inspiration that we normal post photos of actors/actress that are in Sylum is going to be a bit different this year.

This year we’re going to showcase places, items, and animals that are seen in around the Sylum Universe.

For Example – this week’s Sylum Inspiration is a Janus Coin.  This coin is what Nico has in the door frame of the Manor.  An old Roman Tradition where Janus watches over your comings and goings.  (See archived story: Caretaker Series – Thomas Efford)

I’ll put out a blog post each Monday explaining what the inspiration is.

It’s a new way to showcase all those little things in Sylum that doesn’t get attention.

It seems that the spam program works and comments are once again easier to use!!

*there’s a few glitches but between programs/apps and updates there may always be a few glitches – you’ve got to love technology*

We’re always trying to find the best ways to keep the blog safe yet keep it easily accessible to everyone else.

The spam program we were using, the designers decided not to support it anymore.  Though it had worked great it also made commenting more difficult.

Tried another – we won’t even go there.

The one we’re trying now could possible work to keep the spam out yet not annoy everyone else in the process – this is a good thing!

*crosses fingers*

I’m asking for those who do read and comment on the blog to do a favor for me.

First – clear your cookies/caches etc… this will get rid of previous versions of the blog and make it clean so to speak.

Second – reply to this post. I’ve added back the reply via twitter, facebook, wordpress or email. (I’m not sure where it had gone but hey it’s back!)

If you are one of those who was able to keep their registration – sign in that way and reply.   You use twitter and follow the link from twitter – reply using that.  If you don’t have twitter but do have facebook – try it with that.  You’re a wordpress user – please comment via wordpress.  If you don’t have any – please use the email.

We’re trying to see what catches in the spam what doesn’t.  I’ll be answering each comment to see what’s going through and what isn’t.  Though be patient with us this may take a while.  If you don’t get an answer and never see your comment within 24 hours – email us at (sylumclan@yahoo.com).

Sylum Wiki: Update

To let everyone in on, what has been the Administrators worst nightmare.

The wiki has crashed and burned.

The Administrators were found weeping under their desks.

So after long hours of *headdesking* *wailing* and *OMG* *WTF* *REALLY?!!*  We came up with a solution.

The wiki is being re-built in a new location, on a more stable platform.

What does this mean to everyone else?

The wiki that you currently can view is out of date.

You can access it, and about 85% will be accurate enough to get the information you need.

Note: If you have questions where the wiki doesn’t match the Sylum story – leave your question at the Q&A Section of the blog.

The new improved wiki will be revealed when we start posting the 10th Anniversary of Clan War.

Has been taken down.  Before the flailing begins.  All stories, art, and videos were Archived and are on the Sylum Website.

All of the picspams are no longer available, so if you pinned a few things to pinterest, I’m sorry, but they’re no longer there.  The picspams are always temporary.

There will be new picspams with the upcoming Seven Days and Advent.  And it would probably be a good idea  to download the images you want sooner, rather than later.
