Reminder: Guest Archive Closing

The Sylum Guest Archive will be Closing on April 30th.

To Clarify this isn’t the Sylum Archive!  Repeat this isn’t the Sylum Archive!

So you can stop flailing 🙂

This is the Guest Archive where authors uploaded their personal fanfic stories.

None of these stories are Sylum related.

Authors: If you have stories posted please make sure you have copies or download them off the Archive before the 30th.

Readers: If you have favorite stories that you want to keep, make sure you download copies before the 30th.

I’m sorry to state that since E-Fiction is an older program and not supported, there is no easy way to download the stories.  Basically you’ll have to copy/paste.

Suggestion Made from Lady Jax: One (slightly labor intensive) way to keep stories you like. Rather than copy/ paste, save it as a PDF. Click on the print icon on a story and if your computer has the capacity to save as PDF, choose that as the print option. I’ve uploaded stories that way via Calibre on to my tablet. It’s not ideal but it saves me from copy/paste.

THANKS!!

Note: I’ll be moving my stories over to the blog over the next few months, I’ll make an announcement when the stories have been moved.

2nd Note: The Webpage has been updated to reflect some of the new changes, the links to the Archive are gone, but the above link still works.

On May 1st it will be gone.

Random Post: The Moulin Rouge

The Moulin Rouge!

The original house, which burned down in 1915, was co-founded in 1889 by Charles Zidler and Joseph Oller, who also owned the Paris Olympia. Close to Montmartre in the Paris district of Pigalle on Boulevard de Clichy in the 18th arrondissement, it is marked by the red windmill on its roof. The closest métro station is Blanche.

Moulin Rouge is best known as the spiritual birthplace of the modern form of the can-can dance. Originally introduced as a seductive dance by the courtesans who operated from the site, the can-can dance revue evolved into a form of entertainment of its own and led to the introduction of cabarets across Europe. Today, the Moulin Rouge is a tourist attraction, offering musical dance entertainment for visitors from around the world. The club’s decor still contains much of the romance of fin de siècle France.

Today’s Moulin Rouge

A very important piece of Paris history, inside of Passion Clan.

Plus birth place of Christian Sherman (well not is actually birth place, but where he was Turned!)

Character Answers: Dean Winchester

We found Dean at Sylum Manor, resting after a long Hunt.  He was in the kitchen eating a piece of pie … we found the moment was perfect.

Interviewer: Hello Dean.

Dean: *sexy smirk* hey

Interviewer:  So we’ve been going around the Clan asking questions that people are curious about.

Dean: *looks around* What, Nico was busy?

Interviewer: We’re hitting him up next.

Dean: *snorts – goes back to eating his pie*

Interviewer: So the big question everyone wants to know … Please rank in order of who you love most Sam, the Impala, Pie.

Dean: *swallows looks contemplative* Eating pie off Sam, while fucking him in the Impala.

Interviewer: *head tilts – totally envisioning that image* Well that’s creative

Dean: *sly smirk*

Interviewer: Favorite Pie?

Dean: I don’t discriminate against pie.

Interview: Favorite Position?

Dean: *laughs* Also don’t discriminate.

Interviewer: Favorite spot on/in the Impala

Dean: *thinks about* Back seat or hood.  She growls beautifully when on the hood.  I mean it’s obvious…

Sam: DEAN!

Dean: What?

Sam: You are not talking about our sex life.

Dean: Pie we’re talking about Pie.

Interviewer: With your sex life.

Dean: On the Impala

Sam: Oh Dear God

Interviewer: And my job is done, thanks for taking a moment and sharing your pie!

Dean: *sexy grin* *looks at Sam, who is glaring* *looks down at pie* *grabs plate and Sam heads for garage*

Interviewer: *shifty look* Wonder if there’s cameras in the garage *phone lights up with images* Oh thank you!

New Fic: Dragon Hunt by Bj Jones

Title: Dragon Hunt
Author: Bj Jones
Rating: R
Summary: Harold, I’m compromised. Get Out.
Creative Consultant: Timothy Quinn
Disclaimer: Don’t own anything – people with more lawyers than they need – do.
Author’s Note:  I haven’t written a piece of fanfiction outside the Sylum Universe in about 4 years.  POI pulled me back into fandom … ish.  And in typical fashion – it’s not just one story but the beginning of a series.  So yes do expect more stories in time.  It will actually be a nice change from Vampires.
2nd Author’s Note: This is set a few months after Dragon Mate’s Club
Beta: Janet
