Ode to Advent
‘Twas the night before Advent, when all through the Manor
Not a writer was stirring, for nothing else mattered.
The bunnies were lying out snoozing away,
In hopes that their work was now done for the day.
The Vampires were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of naked Mates danced in their heads.
Evil Bob did the rounds on his victory lap,
While I settled down for my pre-Advent nap.
When out of the blue, there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the couch to see what was the matter.
Away to the office I flew like a flash,
Tore open the door with a hell of a crash.
Bob 2 sat there smirking, all chuckling with glee,
He’s a fine sneaky bastard, that Evil Bunny,
For he’s been on a roll now, these past several weeks,
Adding new characters, giving them tweaks.
At first there were six, but it soon became seven,
Enough now! I cried, with my eyes rolled to Heaven.
But lo! On that night before Advent was go,
There were eight shiny Fassbenders all in a row.
“Now, Craterus! Now, Quintus! Now, Aguilar and Callum!
On, Erik ! On, Harry! On, David and Brandon!
To the Wiki!” Bob 2 did the rally then call,
“To the plots! To the plots! To the plots away all!”
But the Greek and the Roman both sighed and sat down,
While the Cop stood there glaring and tried not to frown.
The Assassins made certain their blades were affixed,
As the Mutant made office pens dance and do tricks.
The Synthetic Lifeform hid something from sight,
And the Newbie just smiled, stepping into the light.
They are many and varied, this dangerous bunch,
But then here at Sylum, you should have a hunch,
That while eight men are settling in well and fine,
We soon could be dealing with dude number nine!
Bob spoke not a word when he saw us all there,
Just lit a cigar and jumped up on his chair.
So there’s plenty of work that is still left to do,
And the one who is known here as Evil Bob 2,
Will be keeping us busy, which just isn’t right.
Merry plotting to all! And to all a goodnight!!

Sylum Advent 2017: December 1st

This was a very large update!! Hence we had to take the Wiki down for a week to prep everything for Advent.
So here’s the thing. We’ve done some re-arranging, adjusting, deletions and additions. Along with updating the Clan Pages, The Library, and Main Tables!
Some of this rearranging is due to changes that is going on within the stories, set up for future stories, protecting Sylum from actors/actress that ended up on the ‘oh hell no list’, and storylines that have been abandoned.
Just to give you a small indication of how big this update really was …
Deleted Characters: 24
Added Characters: 50
Moved Characters: 10
Let’s just say the only Clan that didn’t get touched in some way: Sila Kin Clan.
On top of the character updates we’ve also updated the main tables to show case the 10 Races … you might remember the post about it. Tags have been added to characters that are related to these specific categories.
We have changed a few things around. The Home Page is now a static page that introduces Sylum, and has a table with links to the Clans, Clan Positions, Organizations, Ten Races, and Enemies.
The bios will not be seen under the ‘Sticky Post’.

Jack stared at the cloth that had the key drawn on it. The lengths he went through to get this small piece of information was enough to make him want to get drunk.
Wait.
He was already drunk.
He had to be, to be able to lie in a coffin for hours on end.
Talk about life imitating art.
Or was that dead imitating life.
Now that he had the cloth all he had to do was find the actual key, and what it opened.
He tossed the cloth onto his desk, grabbed his compass and opened it once again. He closed his eyes and wished for his deepest desire. A smile appeared on his face when an image of Will asleep on their bed came to mind.
The compass pointed directly at his bed.
He growled and tossed it back onto his desk.

Four guards came into the holding area, one stood in front of Elizabeth’s cell as a warning to Will not to try anything, while another opened his door. The last two dragged him out.
He pulled his arm free, shoving them into each other. “I can walk just fine.”
“No herorics!” One yelled slamming his hand into Will’s shoulder pushing him forward. “We know about your last prison escape.”
“Which one would that be?” Will asked as they escorted him out of the jail and across the square. He frowned at the size of gallows being built. He could understand one hangman’s noose, maybe even two, but seven.
“When you ran off with that pirate.” He answered with the assuredness of knowing the truth of what he had been told.
“Yet, here I am, in Port Royal.” Will stopped and looked at the guard, head tilting slightly, channeling his Mate. “If I had run off with that pirate, wouldn’t I not be here.”
The soldier stared at him, completely confused.
Will smirked. ‘I can see how Sparrow’s ramblings and made up words works.’

“What have you done?!” Gibbs yelled, staring in shock and horror.
“I’m doing what needs to be done! I’m saving us all.” Elizabeth reached down to drag Will away, calling to Gibbs to help her.
Shaking himself out of shock, he pulled his gun, aiming it directly at her. Joshamee Gibbs will not see his Captain betrayed again.
“No!” Jack called out to him.
“Captain!” He didn’t lower his weapon. “I can’t leave you.” Gibbs shook his head, not wanting to think about the consequence.
The pirate’s tone was sober and serious. “Joshamee, save me Will. Get him out of here.”
“If you die…”
“Luv’?” Jack stretched his arms out, giving him a cocky grin. “I’m Captain Jack Sparrow.”
The old seaman lowered his weapon, grabbed Will hefting him over his shoulder, and climbed down into the boat. He laid the unconscious man gently down, Ragetti covered him up with a blanket.
