Kiernan was barely ten years old when he first heard St. Patrick’s teachings. It was then he decided this was his calling. He was educated by St. Patrick as they travelled through Ireland, spreading the Lord’s Word.
In a small town, the citizens weren’t interested in what St. Patrick was saying and had attacked them. Andrew had stepped into the battle to protect his mentor, only to be mortally wounded. St. Patrick had called upon a friend, Arthur Pendragon, who was nearby, for help. Andrew was told of the world of Vampires and agreed to be Turned, seeing it as a way to keep spreading God’s Word.
(Can’t have Ernesto without Kiernan)

What is everyone reading this month?
I recently worked my way through the Hunger Games Series. I had read it a while back, but picked it up for really cheap on audible. I finished the series by reading Sunrise on the Reaping one of the side novels. It was very good, actually slightly better than the original series. You can see Collins improvement as there’s at least 15 years between Hunger Games and Sunrise. It follows Haymitch which was always a fascinating character. The hard part of it, was you knew the ending would suck as you knew what was in store for him. Overall if read the original series – at least read Sunrise. I haven’t read yet the other side story – not sure if interested in Snow.

Spring has sprung … my allergies can confirm.
What are some old remedies you use to help with sinus/allergies or is it just give me the drugs?

Ernesto is the only son of Franco and Veronique Olivetti. His father was a Roman Carabinieri, and was killed in a shooting when Ernesto was twenty. He followed in his father’s footsteps when, after two years as an MP in the Italian Army, he joined the Vatican Police.
He was married to Maria, and has four children: Francesco, Mary, Adria and Isabella.
Ernesto rose up the ranks in the Vatican Police quickly, becoming one of the youngest Inspector Generals at the age of 47.
He was introduced to the world of Vampires when he became friends with and later a Chosen One for Andrew Kiernan.
His life radically changed That Night. Though he had known about Vampires, he had not expected to be pulled into a conspiracy that went all the way back to Galileo, who he found out was a Vampire and was betraying his Clan and society.
He chased all over Rome with Robert Langdon and Nicolaus Meridius. Until he ended up at the Santa Maria della Vittoria, his home parish. A place where he laid his life down for his Church only to wake up a Vampire.

And now that spring has sprung, we won’t mention the hayfever or allergies.
It’s a good time to get outside and enjoy the warmth (though it’s been summer weather here in California)
