Imenand was a Tutor that worked at the Palace.

He himself had been raised at the Palace, and it was his childhood friend, who had become Pharaoh who had made sure that his friend was well taken care of in life.

Imenand met his wife, who was a servant to the Pharaoh’s wife. The two gave the couple their blessings to marry. She gave him five beautiful children, all accepted and reigned freely with in the palace.

He was devastated when his wife was taken from him by a fever that had spread rampant through the valley, five years after their youngest daughter had been born. He mourned her death, and was honored when she was laid to rest next to the Pharaoh’s own wife who had also perished from the fever.

He set out to raise his own children, and make sure all the children in the Palace were educated. When his friend passed, leaving the throne to his son, Imenand stayed as a teacher. He was well respected among the court, many had sought him out for his wisdom on variety of topics.

His oldest son Baraka had joined the military, much to his father’s dismay, making a name for himself, along with his best friend and fellow soldier Kafele. When he received word that something had happened to both men. He feared the worst and set out to find them. During his search he was introduced to Ardeth Bey of the Medjai.

Ardeth sat him down and told him that his son was safe, along with his friend. Explained that the Cult of the Apep had taken Kafele. They were able to save him but he was Turned.

Imenand talked with the Medjai Leader, asking questions about the Vampire Race. Ardeth introduced him to Viduus and the two talked for days, and at the end Imenand requested to be Turned.
