Daniel was a normal kid who grew up in New Jersey, until his mother moved them across the country to Los Angeles California. He didn’t fit well into the new society, and found himself the victim of bullying. He was befriended by Miyagi, who taught him karate. Through his teachings he was able to hold his own and defend himself against the bullies. Leading up to winning the Tri Valley Tournament.
With Miyagi’s help Daniel excelled in school, then went to college ending up with a degree in physical fitness. He spent time teaching, working in sport centers, and variety of dojos. Nothing made him happy, and was ready to quit, when Miyagi showed back in his life and dragged him to Japan.
There he learned about Vampires and so much more.
He spent a few years getting his ass handed to him by a variety of hunters, honning his own skills. When he went back to Los Angeles, he knew what he wanted and opened his own dojo.
Miyagi asked him if he wanted to be Turned, Daniel finding a family with Shogun agreed.
