Welcome back! Today we’re interviewing Antonio Crisafi!
It took us a while to arrange a time, as Tony has been very busy between his work with NCIS and taking more leadership role at Sylum Clan.
As we settle down at the kitchen table, we noticed Jethro, standing near the doorway like a guard on duty.
Tony: Don’t mind him he can be a little tense. *He turns and smirks at his Mate – Jethro ignored him while sipping his coffee*
Interviewer: He’s not the only Guard Mate we’ve run across.
Tony: No doubt. So I’ve been warned by Dean and Ernesto so what is in store for me.
Interviewer: We only have a few questions.
Tony: For the Vampire Gazette
Interviewer: Working title *smirks*
Tony: Don’t let Artemus know as he has the Sylum Gazette where he spreads the latest gossip around the Clan.
Interviewer: *makes notes to talk to Artemus*
Tony: *eyerolls*
Interviewer: Today’s questions mostly center around your artwork, as it’s rarely talked about.
Tony: Everyone is more interested in my good looks.
Jethro: *snorts*
Interviewer: *coughs* Have you ever had an Art Exhibit of your work?
Tony: I have my own gallery, which displays not only the artwork I’ve created but others through out the clan. It’s not really open to the public, but many members of variety of clans have viewed them.
Interviewer: Anything outside your gallery.
Tony: There’s an art gallery in New Orleans, that has a few of my pieces. There’s even a great tragic backstory for the artist *he grins* I have one piece up in the Louve, under a different name, and a few pieces scattered through churches and cathedrals in France.
Jethro: You never told me that.
Tony: *shrugs* It’s no big deal.
Jethro: Next time we go to France you need to show me.
Interview: *ahhs quietly* Your art is very important to you – what got you started into it?
Tony: I had a hard time with words so after a while I would draw what I was trying to say. I was sketching crime scenes before I knew what they were. After a while it was a good way for me to express myself.
Interviewer: Did it became a place to go when things were too much? Seen one too many wars?
Tony: At times yes. I was able to get some darker emotions out. A few of those drawings I destroyed later, but it was cathartic.
Interviewer: *side-eyes Jethro then coughs* Any drawings of the Mate you lost *contemplates running for life at Jethro’s dark glare*
Tony: *chuckles sadly* Only a few. I have a sketchbook locked away of Captain Jensen and a few darker paintings from Damascus.
Jethro: *pulls Tony up out of seat* Interview done *drags Tony away* Why didn’t you tell me…
Tony: Didn’t know how…
Jethro: I want to see them … see me … us.
Interview: *leans to the point of laying down on bench to see the two in the hallway – smiles as Tony has Jethro up against the wall kissing him* *sits back up* Well I guess that interview is over.
*looks at list*
Nico … oh this going to be fun.
