Today is Top Gun Day – yes it’s a day – who knew!?
I was like oh yes write a snippet for Kathie who asked for ‘Ethan’s family’ then realized I already had so guess what BONUS Snippet!!
Sylum Inspiration: Sayyid al-Abbas
Medjai: Hunter
These were some of the characters that were introduced in stories from Advent.
Sayyid was raised in Morocco, whose family had been Chosen Ones for the Medjai and Integridad. His family was influential in helping Jews and Moors flee persecution out of Spain.
In one of the raids into Spain, he was mortally wounded. Only for his family to seek out help from Azeem asking him to save their only son.
Sayyid accepted the blessing, and knew Allah had a reason for him to live.

National Paranormal Day
I know not everyone follows paranormal shows, but for a quick lesson – this is an image from SLS camera. Basically the stick figure that is seen is anomaly, the SLS camera shows anomalies that the human eye can’t see, basically there’s something there but no one knows what it is: ghost, spirit, something.
I bring this up as the snippet you’re going to get – is based off on one of the songs from Deadpool’s Vampire List that was showcased during Spring Fling – uses a SLS camera.

Sylum Inspiration: Constanza Ramos

(Note: Here are some of the characters mentioned in stories during Advent!)
Constanza was the only child, and loved dearly by her parents. She lost her mother to illness when she was a young child, her father though devastated from the loss of his wife, made sure his girl was loved and raised well.
He encouraged her to try new things, let her be what she wanted to be.
Constanza loved the outdoors, testing her limits, and soon found her running parkour around the city.
She met Ysabel one of her more trickier runs, that ended up bring the police into the situation. The two ended up becoming friends, and it upset her greatly when Ysabel disappeared for a few years. During that time she lost her father, and with the money he left, she was able to open her own Parkour School.
Her life changed when Ysabel came back into her life.

Due Date: Stories, artwork etc. should be in my inbox no later than June 25th.
What is Seven Days?
Seven Days is our Annual Summer Event. We accept Sylum Art, fanmixs, videos and stories. It’s not uncommon to see stories that are set up for future fics or Timestamps that relate to stories from Advent.
Start Date will be July 1st.
What do you need to do to participate?
You will need to sign up and state what your interested in doing.
REMINDER: All Sylum Stories will need to be approved by Bj Jones. If you’re interested in doing a Sylum Story contact Bj (sylumclan@gmail.com). DO NOT write the story then send it, this makes the General very cranky.
How do I sign up?
Just click reply and let us know what you’re interested in doing, don’t forget to give us your contact info so we can get a hold of you.
Sign Ups close April 30th. If we do not get your request, by then it will not be included.
Is there a deadline of when the Fic/Art needs to be Finished?
Yes!
– Posts will appear over the next months to check on everyone’s progress.
– All Fic/Art will need to finished and emailed to (sylumclan@gmail.com) by June 25th.
