Sylum Advent: Starts Tomorrow
This will be our 5th Year doing Advent on the Sylum Blog. Takes a moment to let that sink in!
We’ve got 32 Days worth of stories. There are snippets of major stories coming, stories from every Clan, a major introduction story, three guest authors, and re-posts with new story elements.
This will be a fun filled Advent.
Reminder: The author’s don’t get anything for doing this. Please take the time to leave a comment. It doesn’t have to be a 1000 word essay, it can be simply as I loved that or that was fun. But please take the few extra seconds, it means a lot to us author’s.
A special thank you goes out to Taibhrigh for the hard work on the Banners. Especially the Character Series that developed for this year.
Now sit back, keep your hands and arms inside the cart at all times – this is going to be a wild ride in the wilderness!!
December is Wiki Wiki Month
As Advent approaches … *runs around flailing* … sorry about that.
While Advent is being posted, I’ll be working on updates on the Wiki Wiki. This will include adding some new characters, removing some that aren’t working, and updated bios to fit updated storyline.
Once finished I’ll make one large announcement.
Though if you want to stalk the wiki during December to figure out what is new, have fun with that!

Maura doesn’t remember much of her early life. She does recall being picked up by an older gentleman with a snowy white beard.
She grew up in a good standing Irish family, wanting for nothing as a child. She asked a lot of questions and read everything she could get her hands on. When she decided to be a doctor, her father tried to persuade her that it was not a fitting career for a young lady, but even he knew it was hopeless telling her so.
She fought for her education. She fought to be recognized. It was the inspiration of Marion Dubois that kept her going.
When she felt comfortable with her life, she went and found her savior – the man with the snowy white beard, Noah MacManus. And she politely asked to be Turned.
