Sylum Information: Mutants

I’m sure many of you are you curious on how we’re pulling off two different X-Men universes.

Dude it’s Sylum – of course we’re going to blend the two, plus add in elements from the original comics, because that is what we do.

  • Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) has been a Vampire for a while, and wasn’t shot in a beach in Cuba.
  • Max Eishenart (Ian McKellan) was a victim to the camps, and met Charles in Israel, they are still very old friends who don’t quite see the world in the same way.
  • Charles Deacon (James McAvoy) is a young man who is was changed by That Night, and his life is changed again by meeting Erik Lehnsherr.
  • Erik Lehnsherr (Michael Fassbender … fucking bastard who snuck his way in more times than I care to admit!) was tossed onto the streets when he was young because of his Mutation, and built a friendship with Charles Deacon.

We’re mixing Mutants from both universes.

From the X-Men: First Class series: Alex Summers, Sean Cassidy, and Armando – along with Emma Frost and Azazel, have been or will be introduced.

From the X-Men original series: Storm, Scott Summers and Jean Gray have already be introduced.  And we’ll be introducing Bobby and Kitty.

We’ve also tossed in Gambit, Sabertooth, and in time will showcase both versions of Hank.

In case you’re wondering – Mystique will only be the original version (I’m sorry but Mystique isn’t the good guy no matter how hard the new series made her out to be).

As for Wolverine – as Hugh Jackman is ageless so is our Logan.  Though you’ve already met him … Lycan is way older than anyone expected, and his not quite a Mutant, Human or Vampire – instead a mix match of all three … as his is Mate Lyca.

The Mutant storyline is developing, and will seep into more stories as we go.  Evolution is still the big introduction, the one we’ll be working off from here on out.
