Sylum Charity: Gary Sinise Foundation

At the Gary Sinise Foundation, we serve our nation by honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need.

We do this by creating and supporting unique programs designed to entertain, educate, inspire, strengthen, and build communities.

Last November I put out a poll on what type of Charities you would like to see highlighted.  I’m still taking suggestions!

An excellent charity! My dad served in the Air Force, and my cousin Timothy retired from the Navy as a Vice Admiral. Tim was a pilot during Vietnam and a member of the 1000 trap group. He was Commander of the flight deck at the end of the war. The last two of our pilots who were shot down were his men. He was PISSED!
I think Gary’s charity is WONDERFUL! I fully support our men and women in uniform. I was against the ‘Nam war but I ALWAYS was for our military. Got me strange looks from people who hated the military until I told them about Dad and Tim. They didn’t like it, but they kinda understood. Kinda…
    Rambling again…
    Thanks for showcasing Gary’s Foundation.

Due to the abuse our grand-children have been endured for the time they lived with their mother and her new boy-friend (about 7 months) which includes mental and physical cruelty upto the point where the oldest girl (13) had days to live when the youth welfare office discovered the abuse and took all three out of the household, I am very sensitized to the misery of children in any part of the world, may it be due to hunger, fatal illnesses, cruelty or any other kind of mistreatment. I therefore suggest Save the Children or Unicef.
