Hug A Sheep Day

Hug a Sheep Day!

Okay so most of us do not have random sheep hanging out.

Though there is a place outside LA called Gentle Barn that you can go visit and pet the sheep and other animals.

And of course a Sylum Snippet.

And who has a sheep as a Spirit Animal?

Nathan laughed lightly as his nephew pratically jumped out of the vehicle.

It was rare the two of them had time together outside Shogun.  The fact they were both in Australia, at the same time, was fate for once working in their favor.   Luther had texted him to explain that Ethan had a rough mission, and needed time to relax.   Suggested if all possible, that Uncle Nathan spoil his nephew.

And that is actually what Nathan did.

Five star resort.

Spa treatments.

Exceptional fine dining.

Shopping.

He was pretty sure Katsmoto was going to have a heart attack when he saw the bill.

The last part of the trip, he took him out to Connor’s ranch.   Nathan had found memories of the place, being out in the wilderness with on one around, had helped him heal after the prison camp.   Plus he had heard about Mango, and was curious to meet the elusive sheep.

Mango was everything he had imagined and more.

The moment Ethan walked up to the pens, there was a loud bleeting and one sheep seperated from the rest and ran straight for him.   Ethan ended up sitting on the ground, a talkative sheep in his lap, the whole time Ethan just petted and listened intently.

They spent a few days at the ranch, Nathan enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, while Ethan wandered around a sheep following behind.

As they left, Connor handed a small box to Ethan.   The Meridius grin in full force.

Ethan laughed at the stuffed sheep toy, holding to close.

“The stuffing is wool from Mango so she can be with you at all times.”

“Thanks.”  He held it close. “This means a lot.”

“Well you can’t come every year for Hug a Sheep Day.  So we figured best if you had Mango with you.”
