McFassy Fortnight: Postponed for a Fortnight

Due to RL we’ve had to postpone McFassy Fornight a fornight 🙂

We were working to get it done, but August conspired against us!!

First of the month I was ill for days, and to add insult to injury once was feeling better enough to go out and get some shopping … my credit card # was stolen.
The Great Flood of 2018. For those who don’t follow me on Facebook. Last weekend got a call from dad’s neighbors that there was a flood. Come to find out yes there was a flood – there was a leak in his upstairs bathroom that flood the master suite, and the downstairs living/kitchen area. Dad was on vacation and it was leaking for over 5 days. I’ve been dealing with that and still dealing with it. At least dad’s home to deal with most of it. Did I mention dad gets a new kitchen now?
And just when I had some time off to just have time off that wasn’t being ill or a crisis – my coworker txted me to tell me they put in their 2 week notice. No they won’t replace them – guess who just ended up with two jobs.
Conclusion: Postpone McFassy Fortnight.

Don’t worry we’re still working on it, we got Aesthetics being built, an awesome video, and some snippets of insight into these two connected families.

We could use questions for:

Callum

Aguilar

Brandon Sullivan

You can ask their Mates a few question so Joshua Faraday, Arianna, and Ike – will take few questions.

Sylum Advent 2018: Sign Up Reminder

Still have 10 days to sign up for Sylum Advent!!

This is me looking at all y’alls and reminding everyone that we have a Sylum Wiki Blog that holds over 1000 Characters. There is plenty of characters to write stories, build fanmixs, work up Aesthetics, create fanvids or design artwork.

There’s a lot going on so the normal Sylum Writers could use a few extra hands.

What is Sylum Advent?

Sylum Advent s is our Annual Winter Event. It will start on December 1st and go through to New Years Day, January 1st. It usually focused on Sylum Stories, but we also accept Sylum Art, fanmix, aesthetics, and videos.

What do you need to do to participate?

You will need to sign up and state what your interested in doing.

REMINDER: All Sylum Stories will need to be approved by Bj Jones – It’s not difficult to work with me for storyline. I’ll be honest it’s best if you focus on stories that aren’t attached to main characters being used in Arcs or stories by other authors. If you’re interested in doing a Sylum Story contact Bj (sylumclan@yahoo.com).

Take out characters being used in major story – there are over 800 characters to choose from!!

Sign Ups close August 31st. If we do not get your request, by then it will not be included.

Is there a deadline of when the Fic/Art needs to be Finished?

Yes!

– Check-in will be on October 1st, 15th & November 1st.

– All Fic/Art will need to finished and emailed to (sylumclan@yahoo.com) by November 25th. No exceptions. I understand life happens, if you realize that you won’t be able to make the deadline or get the story/art done, please let me know ASAP so I can adjust posting schedule.

Wait is it that time already?

Ish…

But then it’s never to early to start planning Advent!!

As we’re gearing up for McFassy Fortnight, and then the opening of the New Archive – we figured it best to do sign ups for Advent now.

Coming this September McFassy Fortnight!

See it first started with Fassbender, who weaseled his way in enough to make such an event possible!

Of course McAvoy couldn’t be left behind! So we ended up combining the two.

And as we do with all these events – send me your questions for the characters that are already showcased in the Wiki (see links below). We’ll be taking Questions up to August 15th! There is a wide range of Fassbender & McAvoy Characters so make sure to read their bios and ask a few questions!
