Video Game Day – Assassins Creed

 

As it’s Video Game Day – what do you play?

I’m still working my way through the whole Assassins Creed series.   

And surprise – two snippets in just a few days!

Aguilar stood at the doorway watching his brother and Jake fight it out.

“Are you two really playing the video game?”

Callum not even looking back, to busy trying to kill the Templar.  “It’s theraputic.”  

“Though I do wonder about some of these stories.”  Jake also stated, trying to direct Callum in the way he’s supposed to go.  “Other left!”

“There’s a league isn’t there.  A winners board somewhere in Masyaf.”

“Hell yeah!”  Callum yelled when he finally put down the Templar.  “Yasuke came out of no where and took the lead.   Jake and I have been the top two for years!”

“Didn’t they just put out a new Shogun version?”

“Yeah, it’s cheating.  They never did set one in Spain or even Ireland.   It’s disrespect!”  Callum still ranted over the false histories at the Templar torture chamber.  “Yasuke never played until the new game, no way we’re letting some newbie take our crown.”

Agular glanced over at Evy who was bring more snacks and drinks.  He sighed and found a seat next to Maximus, who was ignoring the whole thing.  

“I’ll get involved when they give us Rome.”  His voice was soft, but held a determination.  “Though may have to take on my grandkid.”

“Last I heard Warrick was still fighting Kenway over the pirate version.”  Aguilar sipped his beer, smiling at his brother laughing and having a good time.

“They had to disqualify Clay’s Mate, because he wiped everyone off the floor on the French Revolution.   It was unamious since he wasn’t really an Assassin it didn’t count.”   Maximus glanced over to Aguilar.  “He’s likely plotting revenge.”

“Probably.”  

The two settled to watch the marathon game.   Later when no one was paying attention.   Aguilar would show them, who was really the boss.
