Carmen is my favorite opera. In fact, I took voice lessons for years and my teacher was an opera singer. My voice is long gone (I had a 3-1/2 octave range) because two babies kicked the hell out of my diaphragm, but I never forgot the teaching.

Not a fan of opera. Did watch a movie once where everybody sang their lines, by the end we forgot they were singing. Was a great story.
I looooove Opera! What did you watch? My favourite is Tosca by Puccini, but I have seen quite a bunch. Puccini, Verdi, Wagner, Strauß, Bizet, Mozart (even his first one „Mitridate, re di Ponto“. ) and more.
I love opera but I don’t have a favourite. I love Carmina Burana of Carl Orff and El sombrero de tres picos of Manuel de Falla and so many others…
