Men’s synchronized diving, 2 for the price of one and speedos, but I wake alot of them in awe of what these people do.
My fave event … Equestrian … Gets little coverage so I’ve watched a couple hours worth.
I’ve ended up watching quite a bit. I always watch most of the soccer and all of archery because those are my favorite events. This go around I’ve also ended up watching a lot of swimming and beach volleyball. Normally I end up turn them on with the volume on low and then working or cleaning my house. It’s very relaxing and makes for some great background noise.
I went to an Art&Wine Fair last weekend where they had the Olympics on and it was fun to watch it in a crowd of people especially when it came down to the wire in a few of the events.
Gymnastics because wow, it’s amazing as always. I like that there’s been articles written about the actual physics of Simone Biles’ signature move.
I’ve caught some other events here and there. Since I’m at work when they’re on, I’ve contented myself with the Guardian’s live feed for quick check-ins. With track and field getting fully underway, I’ll be glued to my TV when I can. I’m stoked that the US took home a gold medal in women’s shot put; I was a shot putter in high so the sport is near and dear to my heart.
