Wait … already?

Yes, we had a late Easter this year, and that has thrown me off my schedule!

So this year’s schedule for Seven Days will be a bit tight!

Sign Ups: May 1st – 15th

Banner Due Date: Title and a basic idea for Story Banner needs to be sent to taibhrigh no later than June 15th.

Due Date: Stories, artwork etc.  should be in my inbox no later than June 25th.

What is Seven Days? 

Seven Days is our Annual Summer Event.  We accept Sylum Art, fanmixs, videos and stories.  It’s not uncommon to see stories that are set up for future fics or Timestamps that relate to stories from Advent.

Start Date will be July 1st.

What do you need to do to participate?

You will need to sign up and state what your interested in doing.

REMINDER:  All Sylum Stories will need to be approved by Bj Jones.  If you’re interested in doing a Sylum Story contact Bj (sylumclan@yahoo.com).  DO NOT write the story then send it, this makes the General very cranky.

How do I sign up?

Just click reply and let us know what your interested in doing, don’t forget to give us your contact info so we can get a hold of you.

Today is the last day to sign up!  If you have thought about it, but still hesitant – don’t be sign up today!

This is me looking at all y’alls and reminding everyone that we have a Sylum Wiki Blog that holds over 1000 Characters.  There is plenty of characters to write stories, build fanmixs, work up Aesthetics, create fanvids or design artwork.

There’s a lot going on so the normal Sylum Writers could use a few extra hands.

What is Sylum Advent? 

Sylum Advent s is our Annual Winter Event.  It will start on December 1st and go through to New Years Day, January 1st.  It usually focused on Sylum Stories, but we also accept Sylum Art, fanmix, aesthetics, and videos.

What do you need to do to participate?

You will need to sign up and state what your interested in doing.

REMINDER:  All Sylum Stories will need to be approved by Bj Jones – It’s not difficult to work with me for storyline.   I’ll be honest it’s best if you focus on stories that aren’t attached to main characters being used in Arcs or stories by other authors.  If you’re interested in doing a Sylum Story contact Bj (sylumclan@yahoo.com).

Take out characters being used in major story – there are over 800 characters to choose from!!

As we’re gearing up for McFassy Fortnight, and then the opening of the New Archive – we figured it best to do sign ups for Advent now.

The main writers of Sylum have a lot on their plates mapping major arcs and stories.  We can’t tackle a majority of characters in other Clans.   So I’m callin’ y’all out.  Take up the challenge – sign up for Seven Days.  Browse the wiki, find someone you’re interested in.

Spring Fling has always been slightly different from the other Sylum Events, as it is solely focused on Art, Videos, and Fanmixes.

I’m lookin’ at all y’alls.  There are a lot of options you can do for Spring Fling: Art, Fanmixs, Aesthetics, and Videos.

– All Fic/Art will need to finished and emailed to (sylumclan@yahoo.com) by November 25th.  No exceptions.  I understand life happens, if you realize that you won’t be able to make the deadline or get the story/art done, please let me know ASAP so I can adjust posting schedule.
