I may watch too much cooking shows?

“How the hell did he miss the meringue clue!”  Ray glared at the TV. “It was right there, all the ingrediants and in the damn bowl.”

Walter couldn’t help the smile, but kept quiet eating the very nice daquios that his Mate had prepared.  So the cooking shows were odd, but according to the family it’s was just the way things were.   At least is Mate learned from said cooking shows, and Walter got to eat a LOT of good treats.   Well when Holliday didn’t sneak by and steal them.

“It was a hard one.”

“No it wasn’t!”  Ray rolled his eyes.  “It was obvious a pavlova with wild berries and chantilly whip cream.”

“Are you going to make one?”  He asked.

“Maybe just to damn will prove it.”  He muttered as he grabbed his notebook and started writing down ideas, and looking up recipes.  “These people are idiots, how do they own a bakery I have no idea.”

Walter just kept eating.   He kinda enjoyed the show, it was fun.  ‘Crime Scene Kitchen’ try to find the clues of what was baked in the kitchen then make it.  If you guessed it you moved on, even if you fucked it up.  So far Raymond had gotten most of them correct, then spent the next week learning how to make the desert.   Walter was going to start to a stronger exercise routine.  “You totally could win this.”

“Would you come bake with me?”  He asked a small smile on his face.

“Hell no.  I can’t tell a tablespoon from a teaspoon, unless said Teaspoon is annoying.”  He laughed at his own joke.  “Take Missouri you two would easily when.”

“I sent the show to Nicolaus, figured he would enjoy it.”

“Ha he would be great at the clues not sure about the baking though.” 

Raymond glanced over to his Mate.  “Enjoying the desert.”

“Hell yeah.”  He took the last bite and resisted licking the plate.  “Oh next clue is up, let’s see what you’re making next week!”
