Still going with the snippets via Food Network!
“No.” Ringo stared at his Mate.
“No what my dear.” John barely glanced up from his comfortable chair to see what Ringo was jabbering about.
“We’re not watching this.”
Doc Holliday lifted his tea sipped the warm soothing liquid, then set it back down. “I’m watching it and you can either curl up with me or go away.” He focused on the show, he had purposely waited for the full series to finish, as he had no patience to ‘wait’ until the next week. “It has all the joy of gambling and cooking.”
“Why do you even watch this network!” Ringo waved his hands at the TV, watching as the host dealt out a hand of cards that would give each cook the confines of their dish. He then gave them each a wild card that would either enhance or hinder. He paused for a moment, well that sucks make two dishes for snacks with grapes in it. “That’s a bit diebolical.”
“Oh this is tame compared to some. I’m betting on the tall one to walk away with all the money.”
Ringo slipped off his shoes, then took off his hat and tossed it into the other chair, moving towards the large lounge chair John was settled in. “They actually bet money, talk about putting it where your mouth is.”
“These are the high stakes group, done this a few times so it’s double the stakes.” Doc grinned as Ringo curled into the chair snagging the popcorn. “The tall one is an Iron Chef.”
“That’s good right.” He glanced over then rolled his eyes at his grinning Mate. “Fine it’s kinda interesting. Still don’t know how you got hooked on this network. You don’t even cook.”
“But I do enjoy eating.”
I enjoy eating too & watching cooking shows is a great way to get inspiration!
