I want to have the latest, do have the Samsung Nook, a Chromebook, a Samsung tablet (10.2) and a desktop just about a year old. I have a newer printer and an IPhone 5C. I stay out of Best Buy and other techie stores. I have more than enough, although I use all but the Samsung tablet. Hello. My name is Tuckercat and I am a techoholic…..
I am terrible about upgrading. As long as my stuff works and is in good-ish condition I’m fine. I do come from a very tech savvy family though so I sometimes get new stuff as gifts. This is how I ended up with both a Kindle Fire and an IPad that I barely use because I’m a huge fan of my laptop and bound books.
The few times I have upgraded myself though I’ve tended to lean more towards Android then Apple because I’ve found their products can be dropped and take more of a beating.
I have a nook, Motorola razor cell phone, and on my computer I am using Windows 7. My printer is out of paper and I think the roller inside maybe messed up. I got my HP laptop last year and it has Windows 7. I now have to get a new nook. I am planning at some point to get a IPad, keep my laptop and get rid of my desktop computer. I have not gotten around to updating to any of the latest cell phone or other technological devices.
I tend to use things until they die first so I have a Nook (which was a Christmas present), an iTouch, an iPod Classic (which still works \o/), my Macbook is like, 7 yrs old so can only use up to the Lion OS but is good enough for me at the moment (though I am currently checking out options to get a new laptop), and have no cellphone.
