Oceania: Hunter<\/h2>\n

For this year we’re doing specific themes for each month. \u00a0January is introduction of new male characters we’ve recently added to the wiki.<\/p>\n

Roland<\/a> was born into slavery, on a plantation in South Carolina. \u00a0When the war broke out between the states, his father took the advantage and fled with him and his mother. \u00a0He found himself out west, moving from town to town. \u00a0His mother had taught him how to read, and his father taught him how to survive.<\/p>\n

He learned quickly to use a gun, became known for his natural skills.<\/p>\n

And when a posse came for him, he ran.<\/p>\n

Roland ended up in Australia, if you ask him how, he really couldn\u2019t tell you. \u00a0He used his skills to help those he could, and in time found himself protecting the aborigines and those who were being pushed out of their lands by wealthy men with power.<\/p>\n

He kept to his father\u2019s code:<\/p>\n

I do not aim with my hand;
\nHe who aims with his hand has forgotten the face of his father.
\nI aim with my eye.<\/b><\/p>\n

\nI kill with my heart.<\/b><\/p>\n

It was Jake who finally caught up with him, along with Dundee and Quigley. \u00a0They sat him down to explain about Vampires. \u00a0He was intrigued by the way they lived their lives, and protection they gave.<\/p>\n
