I had tried to get this attached to the Sylum Update Post,<\/a> but technology failed and worked all the same time. \u00a0So the original Post went out to email and Social Media, but didn’t add the new part. \u00a0 But the blog posted the new part. \u00a0Seriously I don’t know. \u00a0I think even the technology is having a WTF moment today.<\/p>\n

So now I’m adding this as a separate post.<\/p>\n

It likely needs to be one.<\/p>\n

I’m pretty sure we’re all in shock this morning. \u00a0 Many of us don’t know where to go or how to handle what the fuck just happened. \u00a0I don’t normally get political and I’m not actually going to now, but I wanted to take a moment to say a few things.<\/p>\n

Sylum isn’t going to go away.<\/p>\n

If there is a moment in time when\u00a0Sylum is need. \u00a0It is now.<\/p>\n

I can’t do anything to change what has happened, but I can make a welcoming place for all.<\/p>\n

Sylum has always been about family. \u00a0Everyone on this blog is family. \u00a0You are welcome here.<\/p>\n

I will continue writing Sylum. \u00a0I will continuing making a world we’re we can hope and dream in.<\/p>\n

Today of all days I wish there was a Sylum Clan. \u00a0Wish for a Nicolaus Meridius. \u00a0Wish for Jed Bartlett. \u00a0For a Pius XVII. \u00a0For Ernesto. \u00a0And I think we all could use Ezio right about now.<\/p>\n

But if all I can give you is a place of safety, security, and something to make you smile and your day hopefully a bit brighter.<\/p>\n

That is what I’ll do.<\/p>\n

So in Conclusion.<\/p>\n

Sylum is Here. \u00a0We’re here to stay.<\/p>\n

Advent is around the corner and we have a fun idea brewing for it.<\/p>\n
