Thought this would be fun.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n This won’t be us picking a book and we read and discuss.<\/span><\/p>\n More of – Hey what is everyone reading.<\/span><\/p>\n Drop a comment on a book you’ve just finished and let us know what you think.<\/span><\/p>\n My latest book (via audible) was Demons of Unrest<\/em> by Erik Larson.\u00a0 \u00a0This is the lead up to the attack on Fort Sumter which lead to the American Civil War.\u00a0 \u00a0If you’re fascinated with history and want to learn more about the lead up to the war this is a very good book, which interesting details and nuances of those six months.\u00a0 \u00a0It can drag slightly, but it still kept me wanting more.\u00a0 \u00a0The detailing of events that transpired is fascinating, and meet many known ‘characters’ and introduced to others.\u00a0 I would recommend, even for the casual historian.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Sylum Book Club Thought this would be fun.\u00a0 \u00a0 This won’t be us picking a book and we read and discuss.
