\u201cHello There.\u201d\u00a0 Obi-Wan gave the Separatist General a slow smirk.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Does he always do that?\u2019\u00a0 Rex asked over the comms.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Yes.\u2019\u00a0 Cody sighed and was thankful the bucket kept him from facepalming.\u00a0 \u2018According to Jinn, he\u2019s been doing it since he was eight.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

Rex slowly shifted until he was looking at his vod.\u00a0 \u2018Seriously.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Oh yes, the story goes that the Council wanted Jinn to take young snarky Obi-Wan as a Padawan.\u00a0 Neither thought this was a good idea.\u00a0 Eight year old, told Jinn that he was an idiot on his last mission, and Jinn told, said eight year old he was a spoiled brat.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Perfect match.\u2019\u00a0 Rex drawled.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018According to General Yoda.\u2019\u00a0 Cody bit back the heavy sigh as General Kenobi flirted and snarked his way through the negotiations.\u00a0 He signaled Ghost Squad to keep an eye out for hostiles.\u00a0 \u2018The Green Troll\u2026\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018CODY!\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Sorry General Green Troll.\u2019\u00a0 Cody snarked, ignoring the laughter that he was sure wasn\u2019t Rex and wondered who had hacked into their comms.\u00a0 \u2018Got them on a transport together, how I do not know and likely don\u2019t want to know.\u00a0 Xanatos, Jinn\u2019s apprentice that went dark, kidnapped Obi-Wan and sold him into slavery, who promptly escaped and started a slave revolt, but that\u2019s a whole nother story.\u00a0 When Jinn and Xanatos were in their epic battle of death \u2026 according to Obi-Wan, who just randomly popped up and said \u2018Hello There\u2019 startling Xanatos, who was so damned shocked to see the kid that he grabbed him and was going to toss him over the edge of the roof \u2013 this dramatic moment is how they became Padawan and Master.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018It didn\u2019t quite happen that way, darling.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018It happened exactly that way.\u2019 Jinn popped onto the comms.\u00a0 \u2018You then stabbed Xanatos with your throwing knife and he dropped you over the edge.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018I caught the ledge.\u00a0 Nothing I hadn\u2019t done before.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018But you were eight.\u2019\u00a0 Rex added into this loving snarky commentary.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Been doing it since I was six.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018My point exactly.\u2019\u00a0 Jinn commented.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018So while you\u2019re all gossiping about my childhood exploits.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018You jumped off a ledge two days ago!\u2019\u00a0 Fives added to the conversation. \u2018General, sir.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018WHAT?!\u2019\u00a0 Cody and Jinn yelled at the same time.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018We\u2019ll talk about that later, right now I\u2019m being taken hostage, I\u2019m likely going to stab someone so \u2026\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

There was a scream, the sound of drodika\u2019s firing up, along with a lightsaber.<\/span><\/p>\n
