It’s the year of the Dragon!\u00a0 I’m sure Mushu is already celebrating<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

“It’s my year!”<\/span><\/p>\n

Ethan patted his dragon.\u00a0 “To me your year is every year.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Mushu’s head popped up and looked at Katsumoto.\u00a0 “This is why he my hooman!”<\/span><\/p>\n

“You spoil him.”\u00a0 Katsumoto gave his Mate a pointed look, who completely ignored him.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Of course I do.\u00a0 I’m his hooman.”\u00a0 He continued petting the dragon who was praticaly purring.\u00a0 “Besides the more I stroke his ego, the more I can ask him for alone time.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Shogun’s Clan leader smirked, his Mate really was devious.\u00a0 “By the way what’s up with the big pole that has ribbons tied to it.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“A gift from someone in Sylum, he’s in on the dragon thing and sent ‘enrichment toys’ to all the dragons.\u00a0 \u00a0Paul made sure to let me know not to worry about it.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“That was very kind of him.”\u00a0 He slid closer to his Mate.\u00a0 “Think we can wear him out and have some of that ‘alone time’.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Nathan’s grin was positively wicked.<\/span><\/p>\n

***<\/span><\/p>\n

“It’s the year of the Dragon.”\u00a0 David stated as if that explained why he was decorating Cloudjumper’s cave.\u00a0 “We should celebrate.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“It’s a Chinese tradition, and Cloudjumper isn’t a Chinese Dragon.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Said dragon gave him a look, indicating that he should shut up and let David spoil him.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“I think your dragon is on David’s side.”\u00a0 Joshua chuckled lightly, putting down the crates of fish he was able to secure for the celebration.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Paul sighed, then set his own gift on the table.\u00a0 He glanced at the box that was sitting next to the table, realizing it was the new ‘enrichment toy’ Matt had sent over.\u00a0 “You are a spoiled dragon.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Cloudjumper coed and wiggled around until he was leaning against Paul.<\/span><\/p>\n

“You do realize I have to get something for Smaug if you get something for Toothless.”\u00a0 \u00a0Thorin stared down at the Clan’s Lead Hunter.<\/span><\/p>\n

“He’s an entitled asshole.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Yes he is.”\u00a0 Thorin agreed.\u00a0 “He’s also huge and throws a fifty foot flame.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Point.”\u00a0 Hiccup rolled his eyes at the whole situation.\u00a0 “Okay fine I bought two, because he’ that kid who likes to blow out the candles at someone else’s party.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“More like start the fire.”\u00a0 Bilbo added to the conversation from where he was mixing a extra large batch of fish stew for both Dragons.\u00a0 \u00a0“It’s Year of the Dragon so technically we have to honor both.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“We’re Norwegein.”\u00a0 Thorin pointed out, but then gave up.\u00a0 “You think we would be more prepared as it comes up every 12 years!”<\/span><\/p>\n

“At least Cloudjumper is with Paul.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“I like that one, he’s quiet and contemplative.”\u00a0 Bilbo commented, they had briefly met the other dragon after getting back from England to find a third dragon hanging out at the clan house.\u00a0 “Didn’t that nice chippy send some toys.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“It seems he sent one to all the dragons.\u00a0 \u00a0Smaug’s is filled with mirrors and crystals.\u00a0 Toothless is like one of those baby mobiles with different types of fish.\u00a0 He hasn’t stopped playing since he got it.”\u00a0 Hiccup pulled out his phone to show the video.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Well that should keep them all entertained.”\u00a0 Thorin couldn’t help the smile at the smaller dragon’s antics.<\/span><\/p>\n

Draco rolled his eyes but broke open the crate.\u00a0 It was a set of bookshelves that could hold some of the new tech he’s aquired recently.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Well at least Matthew knows how to give gifts on special occasions.”\u00a0 He gave Bowen a side eye.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Knight sighed.\u00a0 “I brought you a cow.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“It’s the least you can do!\u00a0 I need to eat.”\u00a0 Draco humphed and sent out to send the chippie a nice email thanking him for the gift.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“I also brought a sheep.<\/span><\/p>\n

Draco paused then glanced back at Bowen.\u00a0 “What type of sheep?”<\/span><\/p>\n

***<\/span><\/p>\n

“This is the best gift ever!”\u00a0 Muldoon watched as the little red dots from the make shift ‘disco ball’ went around the room.\u00a0 \u00a0The annoying bastard was chasing all of them and wore himself out in minutes now asleep in the middle of the floor.\u00a0 “I don’t know who this Matthew Thompson is, but he’s my favorite person at the moment.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Owen laughed lightly.\u00a0 He had been shocked to see a crate with a note from this Matt stating he was in on the ‘dragon thing’ and as it was the Year of the Dragon sent out gifts of toys to each of the dragons.\u00a0 \u00a0Since he had heard from Jake that Tiny Terror was a small and energitic dragon he though something he could play with would be good.\u00a0 Owen was impressed the quality was good, and it was perfect for the small dragon.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We should send a thank you gift.”\u00a0 Juba pointed out, though even he was impressed at how fast Terror knocked himself out playing.\u00a0 “And extended an invitation to visit.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Tarzan laughed as he poked at the sleeping dragon.\u00a0 “I’ll give him a call!”\u00a0 He ran off laughing lightly.<\/span><\/p>\n

Happ”I hope the poor guy won’t be to freaked out over getting a call from Tarzan?”\u00a0 Owen glanced over to Juba.<\/span><\/p>\n

“He sent gifts for Year of the Dragon to the dragons – I think he’ll be fine.”\u00a0 Juba had to ask a few people until he got to Nico to ask about the guy, and all he learned was he was laid back and took things with a grain of salt.\u00a0 Probably wouldn’t blink at Tarzan or Quartermane.<\/span><\/p>\n

“How are we supposed to get to him?”\u00a0 Altair gave Dastan a look.\u00a0 “And exactly how did he get it here?”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Tus via Aguilar.”\u00a0 Dastan pulled out the long rope that had lots of pieces of cloth attached to it.\u00a0 \u00a0“The instructions say to wrap meat or bones to it, and hang it down to the cave.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Obviously someone has been talking.”\u00a0 Altair pointedly looked at Tus, who ignored him.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The man built Aguilar’s new house and training facility.\u00a0 He’s friend with Javert and Jake.\u00a0 \u00a0And built a hobbit hole for a dragon, so of course I told him about our reclusive dragon.”\u00a0 Tus started to help his brother with tying bones and meat.\u00a0 “I think it was a nice gesture.\u00a0 \u00a0No one really thinks about Drogo.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“That’s because he could destroy armies in seconds.”\u00a0 Altair was sure this was a stupid idea, but was curious to see what would happen.\u00a0 \u00a0If it all goes wrong he’ll blame Aguilar.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It took all three of them to drag it out back, tie it to the stone wall and toss it over.\u00a0 \u00a0It took sometime but Drogo’s nose came out of the cave and sniffed.\u00a0 \u00a0He checked out the rope then, began pawing at the ribbon, taking his time to get the meat or bone off.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Well that worked.”\u00a0 Tus was shocked.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Happy Year of the Dragon!”\u00a0 Dastan yelled over the side.<\/span><\/p>\n
