Mango Day! This is obviously a special day with in Sylum.

Which means – snippet and I’m adding in Kenway for Nyx!

Kenway eyed Warrick suspiciously. “What has got you grinnin’ like ya found some ancient buried treasure.”

The pirate gave his Captain a side-eye. “There’s this thing going on for the past few years, decade declaring a National Day to celebrate things. Some of it is bringing to light aboriginal or native holidays and histories so that’s good, other’s just fun stupid shit. Today I discovered the best day ever!”

“Pirate day?”

“That’s Sept 19th.” Warrick smirked. “Aye, talk like a pirate day!”

Kenway tried not to roll his eyes, but it did make the weird text messages he got from Sparrow that day. After the incident with the betrayer, and now more exposed to the full Vampire community he had been working to learn more and integrate into society. The last year Nico and him started working with Brass in SWAT, which let him get some of his aggression out, and yet do something good for the city. Most of the time he found himself beating the shit out of fellow cops, then wanna be gang bangers … though there were a few Templars he enjoyed hunting.

“So what’s this day that’s got you all hot and bothered.” He could practically smell the hornyness on Warrick.

“It’s Mango Day!” He held up one of the reusable grocery bags from a local store, and set it on the table where Kenway was sitting scrolling through his Starkpad. “I have mango’s that are perfectly ripe be nice and juicy. Some Mango sour candies, never even saw these before! Also Mango lube, we were almost out anyways. And lastly, Mango seltzer.”

“You’re planning a night of hot sex.” He shook his head.

“Damn right I am. My fiancee needs some care and relaxation!” Warrick put everything in the bag and gave Kenway a two finger salute then wandered off.

Kenway shook his head, his former second was going to discover that Nick was as in-tuned to these stupid holidays as he was. Maybe he’ll head out for the evening find some fun, maybe even with mangos.
