refuses to talk about his childhood or his past.<\/span><\/p>\nThe one thing known is that he is a scientist, a doctor. All he wanted in life was to do good. He was hired by Stark Industries to work on gamma radiation, for medicine, only to discover that Obediah Stane was using his research to build weapons.<\/span><\/p>\nHe set out to destroy all of his research refusing any of it to be used to destroy or hurt others, but Stane\u2019s men cornered him and everything went to shit.<\/span><\/p>\nHe escaped with his life, but ended up killing innocent people in the process. His guilt and anger with himself for not seeing what Stane was up to, had him \u2018Hulk\u2019 out. He learned quickly to calm himself down \u2026 but his own fears, guilt and anger became a viscous cycle.<\/span><\/p>\nHe escaped Stane for a few years, not even taking the chance to get a hold of Tony Stark, even after he heard about his kidnapping.<\/span><\/p>\nHe let his guard down once and ended up captured by Magneto.<\/span><\/p>\nA mutant set out to duplicate his \u2018mutation\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\nHe didn\u2019t have the heart to tell him it wasn\u2019t one.<\/span><\/p>\nBruce was rescued when the Vampires raided the lab, looking for one of theirs. Realizing he may finally find true help, he ended up working with them. It was during this time he was reunited with Tony.<\/span><\/p>\nHe smirked when he found out that Tony kicked Stane out of Stark Industries, but was heartened by the fact Stane was a Vampire and still out there.<\/span><\/p>\nAfter the war with the Mutants, Bruce took Mal up on his offer to settle in Alaska, away from everyone, and the ability to work and find a cure. Tony made sure he was fully supplied with anything he needed.<\/span><\/p>\nHe knows the two of them will have to talk, and tell their stories.<\/span><\/p>\nBruce has settled in Alaska, finding it calming and relaxing. He\u2019s made friends with Robert Neville and his Mate Jack. He\u2019s discovered interestingly that Sam, the dog, is very tuned with his emotions, and if he starts to get to agitated the dog works to\u00a0calm him down.<\/span><\/p>\nHe\u2019s still not sure if he can cure himself, but he\u2019s determined to cut the cycle of rage.<\/span><\/p>\nThough his therapist Niles Crane sometimes drives him batshit, he\u2019s very good at listening and suggesting ways to stay calm.<\/span><\/p>\nWith the \u2018Hulk\u2019 in the background \u2013 it\u2019s very unlikely Bruce can be Turned. \u00a0At the moment, they aren\u2019t willing to find out.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Serenity: Member Bruce refuses to talk about his childhood or his past.
