Bonus Question<\/strong>: This was the opportunity to ask me questions.<\/span><\/p>\n

The second main one I got was:\u00a0 Which order should the series be read?<\/span><\/p>\n

That weirdly wasn’t an easy question!\u00a0 Sylum has a timeline that is about 7000 years … not including ties to universes and peoples before the time of Earth and storylines building further into the future.\u00a0 \u00a0So we don’t have an exact timeline within the series.<\/span><\/p>\n

Stories also have a tendencies to have flashbacks into past decades, centuries and sometimes further, hence when we list stories in the archive we have the timeline showcase:\u00a0 Set in 2007 with flashbacks to 1890\u00a0 or something similar.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now for the best way to read the stories to make some sort of sense \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Always start with the Legacy stories in the Archive.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Clan War (10th Anniversary Edition)<\/span><\/p>\n

Hell Week<\/span><\/p>\n

Hurricane Season<\/span><\/p>\n

Race Through Dark Places (to be edited)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Family (Being Reworked *as we speak*)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Evolution (to be edited)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Demons & Angels<\/span><\/p>\n

Russian Spy<\/span><\/p>\n

Those are the main stories in the series that have major turning points that are extremely important to Sylum Storyline.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since Race, Family, and Evolution are still being updated – these aren’t available at the moment.\u00a0 We’re working on it, but as we all know the past two years as been hell!<\/span><\/p>\n

Here’s a few tips of what to read that will go with the Legacy stories.<\/span><\/p>\n

After Demons & Angels – read Roads Untravelled.<\/span><\/p>\n

Before Russian Spy – make sure to read the full Burn Notices Series.<\/span><\/p>\n

After Russian Spy – Hallow Thanksmas Eve Series\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Now for the rest of the stories:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Major Series\/Stories that are a must read to understand variety of characters and histories:<\/span><\/p>\n

Dead Men Tell Tales Series<\/span><\/p>\n

Carry On My Wayward Son Series<\/span><\/p>\n

Assassins Creed<\/span><\/p>\n

Watchdog<\/span><\/p>\n

Mission Accomplished Series<\/span><\/p>\n

After that, search by Character or Clan.\u00a0 \u00a0Check out the Anthologies.\u00a0 Remember Yet to Come are stories set outside the Timeline at the moment.<\/span><\/p>\n

It seems intimidating as there is so much available and not sure what stories fit with what series!\u00a0 As you read the stories, you’ll start to see the larger picture and how they start to tie together.<\/span><\/p>\n

I’ve emphasized it before:\u00a0 It’s not a good idea to only read only ‘fandoms’ you like.\u00a0 Sylum is built of so many fandoms and I’m sure that’s how all of you found the series is through a specific fandom whether it be CSI, Fast\/Furious, Due South, Supernatural etc… but here in Sylum all of these connect together.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Hence the motto:\u00a0 Nothing is True. Everything is Connected.<\/span><\/p>\n
