State of the Clan<\/h2>\n

Well it’s 2021.<\/p>\n

We’ll start with that and work our way forward.<\/p>\n

I’ll be honest and had been tempted to just copy paste State of the Clan from 2020, but lets not repeat last year!\u00a0 No.\u00a0 Let’s not.<\/p>\n

We all know last year was rough, and so far this month has been stressful.\u00a0 The most important thing I can ever state, is that Sylum is and will always be a safe place.\u00a0 I rarely, if ever will bring up politics.<\/p>\n

There are always a few exceptions to the rule – I will make a comment on anything that has an impact on Sylum.\u00a0 I will also do check ins to make sure Clan Members, who are being affected by an event, are doing okay.<\/p>\n

And well there are some things that goes beyond politics and that is memes.\u00a0 So here’s the one political\/not political thing I’ll be posting.\u00a0 Some of you may have seen the Bernie Meme going around the internet … basically someone got a photo of him from the Inauguration and it was photoshopped into everything.\u00a0 Sylum not withstanding.<\/p>\n

Recap of 2020<\/h2>\n

It was an eventful<\/em> year, and not just for Sylum!\u00a0 Despite everything, we were able to put together our main events: Spring Fling, Seven Days of Summer, & Advent.<\/p>\n

We had a lot of plans, ‘We had a plan Ben!’, but none of them panned out.<\/p>\n

To be honest, the fact Advent actually happened was a win for the year!<\/p>\n

No seriously.<\/p>\n

Despite everything, we did get some good stories, art, and video.<\/p>\n
