He was taking a time out, and just walking through the vast museums.\u00a0 Technically he wasn’t on duty, but it didn’t mean he wasn’t vigilante.\u00a0 The moment he let his guard down something would happen, and he couldn’t bare the thought.<\/p>\n
Ernesto heard the whispering as he walked by, everyone knew the Pope’s famous bodyguard.\u00a0 Some snuck selfies, others just watched him in awe, a few checked out his ass as he walked by.\u00a0 He couldn’t help the smirk, yep he still had it.<\/p>\n
About half way through the art gallery he paused, then stopped.\u00a0 He took a step back, turned and stared at the young man admiring on the Raphaels.<\/p>\n
“How did you get in here?”\u00a0 Ernesto stood just behind him, smiling at the slight jump.<\/p>\n
“I know my way around.”\u00a0 Neal turned and smiled at the Inspector.\u00a0 “Been in and out of here many times.\u00a0 Sometimes just to admire the beauty.”<\/p>\n
Ernesto’s eyes narrowed.\u00a0 “Where’s your Mates, and the long haired ruffian?\u00a0 Though not sure I trust him either, since he’s known as a Hitter, and his Mate to much of a Mastermind.”<\/p>\n
“I tend to collect stolen work, not steal it.”\u00a0 Nathan shrugged from his seat a few paintings down, Elliot next to him.\u00a0 “I remember this particular one from fifteen years ago.”<\/p>\n
Ernesto rolled his eyes, but he remembered that fiasco under his predecessor.\u00a0 “Thank you for the return of the priceless artwork.”\u00a0 He glanced over at Neal.\u00a0 “Should I ask where you were fifteen years ago.”<\/p>\n
“Actually in New York, driving me insane.” Peter winked at his Mate.\u00a0 “Never thought I would actually be your alibi.”<\/p>\n
“You love me.”\u00a0 Neal grinned at his Mate, who snorted but then leaned over and kissed him on forehead.<\/p>\n
“I hate to say this, El is the one you might have to keep an eye on.”\u00a0 Peter stood behind Neal, hand around his waste holding him close.\u00a0 “She’s ready to steal a few Swiss Guards, she thinks they are adorable.”<\/p>\n
Ernesto laughed lightly.\u00a0 “They are skilled warriors, who do know how to use those pikes.”<\/p>\n
“Oh yeah, seen them in action.\u00a0 I wouldn’t even take them on.”\u00a0 Elliot whistled softly.\u00a0 “Wouldn’t mind a few sparring sessions.”<\/p>\n
“That can be arranged.”\u00a0 Ernesto stepped back, hand held out towards one of the private exit’s that led to the interior of the Vatican.\u00a0 “I’m sure at least two of you already know the back entrances, while your here His Holiness would love a meeting. He likes meeting Vampires.”<\/p>\n
Neal and Elliot both sighed.\u00a0 “This means confession.”<\/p>\n
“Oh yeah.”\u00a0 Ernesto grinned wickedly.<\/p>\n
