Just a small teaser of what I’m working on.\u00a0 I will not say it will be done for Advent, will depend on Bob and well we all know he’s an asshole!<\/p>\n

Luther Stickler was actually a pretty calm guy, he had to be with what he did for a living.\u00a0 Most looked at him, as a very imposing black man, and expected a thug or enforcer of some gang.\u00a0 The fact he was a highly skilled hacker, never crossed anyone’s mind. He knew how to fight, jack cars, swipe items from local convenient store, and bluff his way around a cop.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n All skills he learned as a teenager in Detroit.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n He likely would’ve become a thug or enforce of some gang, but his Momma would not have her son a criminal.\u00a0 She made sure her kid stayed out of trouble, went to school, be polite to the cops despite them being assholes, and get the hell out of Detroit.<\/span><\/p>\n His Momma was proud when he got a full scholarship to MIT, though he never told her that he had been recruited into IMF straight from college.\u00a0 She died before his career went to shit, which he was thankful for, not wanting any of his problems showing up at her front door. Years later as he helped his future Mate break into the CIA to bring down traitors, he knew one thing \u2026 his Momma would’ve been proud.<\/span><\/p>\n More importantly she would’ve loved Ethan, and adopted him instantly.<\/span><\/p>\n Would’ve told Luther to take care of him, and for the love of God feed his skinny white ass.<\/span><\/p>\n There were moments he wished he could’ve introduced his Momma to Ethan, at least he knew someone out there would’ve taken care of him, as the boy has a destructive streak a mile wide that mixed with a hero complex two miles wide.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n That’s the thing, his Mate was an actual hero.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n He will do what’s right no matter what, and usually Luther is picking up the pieces behind him.\u00a0 He had found Brandt wasn’t that helpful, as he was just as bad as Ethan. Benji at least calmed his Mate down, somewhat.\u00a0 There are times he’s more of a mother hen, than a world class hacker who works with an International team of spies.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n But his Momma had raised him right, told him to treat others as you would want to be treated.\u00a0 She believed in Karma, and that the good you do comes back tenfold, while the evil you do comes back a hundredfold.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n So he learned to forgive and not to hold grudges.\u00a0 Even when he had been disavowed, he took it with ease that likely worried a lot of people at IMF.\u00a0 He never really stopped being an agent, just filtered money from one place to another, to help agents in need.\u00a0 Though he made sure some of that money went his way, a finders fee for his services.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n When Ethan showed up with a job \u2026 he might not hold a grudge, but it was worth the stress of breaking into the CIA just to teach those bastards a lesson in Karma.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n There was only one man on this planet he had ever hated.<\/span><\/p>\n Jim Phelps.<\/span><\/p>\n He didn’t like the guy when they had met in passing.\u00a0 Liked him less after he tried to destroy his team and sell out US Agents to terrorists. \u00a0 A rage he didn’t know he had coursed through him, when Ethan in a darkened room, told him what else Phelps had done to him.\u00a0 If the man hadn’t been already dead, he would’ve killed him without a second glance.<\/span><\/p>\n But his Mate was strong.\u00a0 Despite what Phelps had put him through, he had found a way out from under his control.\u00a0 Made connections with not just Brandt, but others in the Vampire community that had helped him get away from his Sire.<\/span><\/p>\n During that time, he came to terms with what Phelps had done to him.\u00a0 It had made him more determined to help those who hadn’t had the resources like Ethan. \u00a0 In the decade they had been Mated, he watched Ethan live, love and laugh.\u00a0 He became more playful, less serious, and stopped looking over his shoulder.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Knowing all of that, contributed to the rage that was slowly\u00a0 rising within him as he watched his Mate shut down. And he god dammed wished someone had fucking warned him, so he could’ve called back up.<\/span><\/p>\n He will personally deliver Jim Phelps to his Mate, and let Brandt kill him.\u00a0 He knew his Mate’s ‘husband’ had the same rage over Phelps as he did.\u00a0 He was the one who had helped Ethan escape, and for that Luther will forever be grateful, and would never bitch when he found the two curled up with each other.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n At one point, he even dragged Benji out to the jungle to explain to him why he will <\/span>not <\/span><\/i>bitch over finding the two of them curled up with each other.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n His fellow hacker may seem like a goofball and flighty, but he’s damn good at his job and loves Ethan dearly.\u00a0 Ethan is his Sire, and he would do anything to help him. Including not telling Luther things Ethan does, that Luther should know.<\/span><\/p>\n So yes, even Benji understood that Brandt and Ethan have a special relationship, and no neither would give a flying shit if they fucked.\u00a0 Both their Mates were spies, they did what they had to do to get the job done.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Including seducing hot business men if need be.<\/span><\/p>\n Luther casually closed his laptop, removed the headphones from around his neck as he stood.\u00a0 He gave Indy and Lara a pointed look, making sure they understood not to leave his Mate alone, kissed Ethan on the head and walked out of their rooms.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
