Mystique let the Vietnamese General approach her. \u00a0She had made sure that she was everything he was looking for. \u00a0Sophisticated, blonde and beautiful. His eyes appreciated what he saw, and with a sassy smile, she spoke his native language \u2026 reeling him in.<\/span><\/p>\n

He was her ticket into the meeting with Trask.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was the closest she had come to him, after all these years.<\/span><\/p>\n

If Erik hadn’t pulled her out of his office, this would’ve already been over. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Janus and Angel would be alive.<\/span><\/p>\n

The autopsy pictures will forever be imbedded in her memory. \u00a0The fact he had one of Angel’s wings on display, made her sick. \u00a0He deserved to die! And she would make sure of it. She didn’t care what her brother preached about hope, there was no hope with men like Trask around.<\/span><\/p>\n

She was doing what was right.<\/span><\/p>\n

Right for her people.<\/span><\/p>\n

She was doing what Magneto was supposed to be doing. \u00a0The moment she saw him, she knew he was a man who would not hesitate. \u00a0And he didn’t. He took those missiles and was ready to destroy the humans. \u00a0At the time she still had been conflicted, not wanting to hurt innocent people. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But now \u2026 now she understood there were no innocents.<\/span><\/p>\n

He lost his courage after getting shot and hid behind Charles … afraid of the humans.<\/span><\/p>\n

She saw his expression with the guards at the lab. \u00a0He froze, afraid of all the guns. He hadn’t even lifted his hand, just waited for Charles to save him. \u00a0That was when she knew, the Brotherhood he created would never take it where it needed to go. Despite Emma being in ‘charge’ everyone knew it was Erik. \u00a0He bowed down to her brother, and lost his ability to fight.<\/span><\/p>\n

So she would.<\/span><\/p>\n

She would bring war to the humans.<\/span><\/p>\n
