Speed looked over at his three companions. \u201cOh, really?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tony snorted into his coffee. \u201cI hate to burst Jethro\u2019s bubble, but I fucked him into the mattress last night.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Danny snickered. \u201cThey complain about us getting into trouble?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI do not attract psychos from a ten mile radius,\u201d Nick growled slightly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cActually Nick, you do,\u201d Speed smirked at him. \u201cCome on, you\u2019re the only CSI I know that has been tossed out of a window, stalked and buried.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nick narrowed his eyes at the Miami CSI. \u201cYeah well\u2026.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tony laughed. \u201cThough I\u2019ll admit Gil is worse.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank you!\u201d Nick shook his head. \u201cMister \u2018I just wanted to talk to the serial killer\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHey, can\u2019t be as bad as, \u2018I\u2019ll just give myself up as a hostage\u2019 and the second B is for bastard.\u201d Tony sipped his coffee.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHello!\u201d Danny looked at the two of them. \u201cPissed off the mob.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGuys,\u201d Speed smirked. \u201cI win this one. Horatio has not only pissed off the mob, he\u2019s pissed off IAB, a few drug cartels, hell he has two hits on his head and on the lab! He ran his Hummer through an exploding building and did I mention the \u2018use me as a target\u2019 to catch a sniper?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, Gibbs has pissed off every agency there is,\u201d Tony added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe sheriff hates Gil.\u201d Nick looked at the two of them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMac\u2019s taken on the whole police force, mainly to protect me, but still\u2026\u201d Danny shrugged.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFace it, our bosses are trouble magnets,\u201d Tony sighed. \u201cAnd they think we are.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell Nick is,\u201d Speed smirked. \u201cAnd so is Danny.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHEY!\u201d both yelled.<\/p>\n<p>Speed and Tony laughed at the two indignant responses.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know he loves me,\u201d Danny sighed. \u201cBut the overprotectiveness is a bit much.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nick rolled his eyes. \u201cI wasn\u2019t allowed out of the lab for six weeks and still even now can\u2019t go to a scene alone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGibbs trusts me out alone at a scene; but he doesn\u2019t trust others to back me up.\u201d Tony shook his head. \u201cHe feels only he can fully protect me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow do Tim and Ziva take that?\u201d Danny asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cZiva gets all irritated.\u201d Tony rolled his eyes. \u201cMcGee knows I trust him to back me up and that\u2019s all he cares about.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMac only sends me out with Stella or Hawkes, and if I\u2019m with Hawks I get Don as a detective,\u201d Danny grinned. \u201cThe irony is they think we don\u2019t notice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow about you, Speed?\u201d Nick asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not the field work that Horatio hovers over,\u201d Speed sighed. \u201cIt\u2019s past issues.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDoes he check it often?\u201d Tony wondered.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe set a cleaning schedule.\u201d Speed smiled. \u201cHe watches me clean it and it helps me knowing he\u2019s watching.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHonestly, if it wasn\u2019t for Mac,\u201d Danny sighed. \u201cHe helps when the \u2018Messer\u2019 history becomes too much.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHas he ever talked to papa Messer?\u201d Nick asked. \u201cI\u2019m lucky my parents knew I was bi and didn\u2019t mind Gil. Though there was a fight after the buried alive situation. They wanted to take me home to Texas and Gil fought them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey do take care of us.\u201d Tony grinned. \u201cI\u2019m not supposed to know about it, but Jethro confronted my father.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHoratio intercepted a call from my mother one day,\u201d Speed grinned. \u201cAnd no I don\u2019t know anything about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Danny laughed. \u201cI love how they think we don\u2019t know what they are doing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut that\u2019s half the fun.\u201d Mac leaned over and kissed Danny on the top of the head. \u201cSo, are you four done conspiring?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo,\u201d they all responded.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou four can go back and chat about keeping us controlled while we plot.\u201d Tony smirked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOw.\u201d He glared at Gibbs, who had just smacked him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s go, Tony we\u2019ve got a plane to catch.\u201d Jethro grabbed his lover pulling him out of the chair.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOhhh, mile high club boss,\u201d Tony leered at him.<\/p>\n<p>Jethro smirked. \u201cThe trip out here wasn\u2019t enough?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tony grinned as he got up. \u201cCan we practice in the cab?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDidn\u2019t I wear you out last night?\u201d Jethro pushed him towards the door.<\/p>\n<p>The other three snickered.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCome on, Danny\u2026\u201d Mac pulled the young man out of the chair.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut we don\u2019t have a plane to catch, we live here,\u201d Danny pointed out.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, I was thinking we could take a walk in central\u2026..\u201d Mac was pulled out of the restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>Speed looked at Nick. \u201cDanny did always have that kink of public sex.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nick blushed. \u201cSo does Gil.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOh really\u2026\u201d Speed grinned.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNick.\u201d Gil covered Nick\u2019s mouth before he could divulge any more secrets. \u201cHoratio it was good talking with you again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Horatio grinned, his hand on Speed\u2019s shoulder. \u201cWe\u2019ll have to get together soon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes,\u201d Gil smiled. \u201cIt was very helpful to talk with y\u2019all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nick looked up at Gil snickering. \u201cY\u2019all?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGoodbye.\u201d Gil grabbed his laughing lover and, with a dignity only Gil Grissom could pull off, walked out the door.<\/p>\n<p>Speed stood up, tossing his napkin onto the table. \u201cShall we?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201dI\u2019ve got a surprise for you.\u201d Horatio led him out of the restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat?\u201d Speed asked smiling.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re staying for a few more days.\u201d Horatio smiled at him. \u201cJust you and me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Week<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nick grinned as he held the phone up to his ear. \u201cSounds like a great vacation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was.\u201d Speed still couldn\u2019t keep the smile off his face. \u201cHave you let Gil off the hook yet?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHell no,\u201d Nick laughed. \u201cI rarely get something that good.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDid we mess something?\u201d Tony asked over the conference call.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGil said and I quote \u2018y\u2019all\u2019,\u201d Speed informed them.<\/p>\n<p>Danny\u2019s laughter could be heard echoing in the room he was in. \u201cI\u2019m sorry I missed it!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was priceless,\u201d Nick smirked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know we forgot something important,\u201d Tony said between laughter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat?\u201d Speed
